Wife just went to the grocery. She dgaf about politics. Came into house and starting railing about how much grocery prices have gone up in the last couple of weeks.
Dropped 177 bucks on some hair products/lotion/body spray and minor grocery items. It filled about 4 plastic bags.
Way worse than anything under Biden thanks to the tariffs now effecting packaging and cost of materials.

First of all, you're clueless and prices are actually down. She may want to find a better store.

Second, you posted an article that is 6 weeks old.

You're a blithering moron.

Im guessing he followed the verbal ruling with a written order. Thats the norm. Usually, especially if its a contentious issue, the written order will contain the reasoning and legal authority.

If they don't, they can be forced to. Its crucial for appeal.

yea... but if he is pretending article 2 doesn't exist... that's a problem. Too many judges are ignoring the constitution now a days. Barnes just had a case in Washington or Oregon where the judge told him the constitution didn't matter in her courtroom and to not bring it up in front of the jury. I just find it weird all these people are acting as though judges get all this leeway but Trump gets zero.

We could use the slippery slope argument which is why I guess Dore doesn't want to comment on judges issuing orders to soldiers. Where is the line for a judges power?

We are already in a constitutional crisis because of this nitwit judge and Roberts won't do anything about it. They didn't turn the planes around. They ignored the judge. What is he going to do now????

And, through all this, the Trump admin is actually playing along. Trump will say what he wants on X, but in court they are playing along with these corrupt judges not just telling them to shove their corrupt rulings up their fat asses and try to enforce them.

Its pretty much impossible, if not literally impossible, to impeach federal judges over poor decisions, no matter how poor the decisions are. On the whole, that is a good thing.

I get frustrated because they don't even have to consider that route. Its clear usaid owns them. Find the money. The money can actually be used to impeach them, since they are ruling on the same subject matters that enrich them.

I don't know if Tim actually thinks he's tough or if he thinks "acting" tough worked on the campaign trail so he's doubling down.... but this dude is an absolute joke.

“challenge you to a wwe fight”

God these people are insufferable. They can’t even pretend to be tough.

Oh, you’re going to challenge everyone to a fake stage fight between to oiled up men in a ring owned by Trump’s head of the department of education?

That Sara Adams chick mentioned this same thing a few days ago. ISIS is going to attack a moderate sized city by hitting a hospital and trying to take hostages.

HIGHLY CREDIBLE THREAT: ISIS-K is actively planning coordinated, multi-city terrorist attacks on U.S. hospitals in the coming weeks.
METHOD: Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Devices (VBIEDs) followed by armed assaults and hostage scenarios.

TIMING: Intelligence suggests these attacks must occur before Al-Q’aida’s planned aviation/D.C. attack, likely making hospitals a prelude to a larger-scale operation.

HIGH CASUALTY RISK: These hospitals are soft targets—low security, high foot traffic, and critical infrastructure.

IMMEDIATE ACTION: All Level One trauma centers in mid-tier cities should review security, identify pre-attack reconnaissance, and implement emergency response measures now.

The irony of the judge is that incompetence is easily construed as jurisprudence…after all, are you a judge? Who are you to question their thinking?

This is precisely why we are where we are with this. In what kind of republic can a single judge outweigh an election?

Part of the slow coup. It was OK when Obama got rid of judges and appointed activists in their place. It was OK when he and Biden created new positions to fill with "unelected" activists and bureaucrats.

It's a "constitutional crisis" when people trying to restore and keep the constitution are about to replace them.

This is WAR, not politics. We have to understand the difference.
If you ever read my posts say, 3 years ago or so, I was very much of the opinion that conservatives needed to be better than the left and play by the rules, and not stoop to their level of scummy politics. We should be the better person, I thought. Over time though I realized that you can never win that way. The left will acquire and maintain power by any means necessary, and I mean ANY. You can't defeat that "playing fair." And I also realized that it's not a game of politics anymore. It is indeed, as you said, a civil war. So at this point I'm don't care what conservatives have to do to keep the liberals out of power and control. It's a war and if we have to fight dirty to win (and we will) then so be it. Now, any libs reading this will certainly pearl clutch. To them I say, "kiss my rear." You started this war and created the rules. You just either lack the self awareness to realize it or you're outright lying. I don't care what you think either way. The time for making nice passed long ago.

Well for God’s sake we better make sure they get their due process and are not deported before they have a chance to resist colonialism and Zionism.

Your problem is you have no idea of what you're talking about because you don't know anything about these cases or what judges do in general. They are not just "making any order with no legal reasoning". They are interpreting the law. Maybe they get it wrong, but they aren't making it up as they go along. Read the pleadings or transcripts from the hearings.

Does she know what she's talking about?

So much for ending the Ukraine war in one day. What a joke of an administration.

30 minutes after Trump's powerful phone call and boot licking session.....
Well he didn't hit a power plant did it? So he's holding up his end of the bargain with Trump.

Peace in our time. Where's Neville Chamberlain when we need him. LOL.

YES!!! W T F ?

Child murderers, rapists, and traffickers. It's not justice when it is delayed so long. When they go free it's even worse.
Arizona Death Row

Well here's one where the murder was 23 years ago, the defendant clearly did it, the defendant is stating he wants to get the execution over with because he deserves it, and the courts are still freaking delaying it.
Takes even longer in states without the death penalty.

No.

Congress can defund or even dissolve any lower court through a Congressional Act, with a simple majority vote. See the Judicial Act of 1802. Trump can flush out all the wacko judges and Mike Johnson can push a bill to defund or dissolve their courts.

OR!

Trump can just say EFF YOU to the judges. He has SCOTUS PRECEDENT backing him on this.

What are they gonna do? NOTHING.

And what will the Democrats do? Impeach Trump IF they flip the House? Been there, done that. Just go through the process and get acquitted in the Senate. Then raise a champagne glass in triumph and keep ignoring judges.

Agreed. The GOP has always lost because they insist on fighting subject to the rules of the Marquis of Queensbury.

The judiciary has self-immolated its own credibility. There is no MORAL justification for conservatives to respect a corrupt branch of government. There IS NO MORE RULE OF LAW when lefty wacko judges can act like kings.

You worry about a civil war? The judiciary has declared it already. Shots are being fired. Heard of Tesla? All the towns that burned in Trump's first term?

BREAKING: District Judge in Wakahootchee, Wisconsin just blocked Trump from taking any action against this.

What are the repercussions if they get it wrong? I'm sincerely asking. Could it be possible that a judge knows they are getting it wrong, but their intent is to delay because they know how long it will take for the appeal process to play out? What can be done about these laws that allow the interpretation from a judge to get it wrong? In other words, how can a left-leaning judge interpret a law completely different than a right-leaning judge? Judges are supposed to be completely impartial, but it is painfully obvious that judges from both sides of the aisle are allowing their beliefs and political persuasions to affect their interpretation of the laws they rule on.

There was a good post I saw on X regarding the judge who cited Hamilton the musical in her ruling. It’s either insane or calculated lawlessness, but it’s not the law.

These judges are doing some dumb things, but disbarring them accomplishes nothing towards their ability to stay on the court. It's nonsense comments like that that discredits their attackers.
