To answer your (rhetorical) question.

Iran is the head of the snake. It's obvious to anyone who has two brain cells to rub together that Hamas and Hezbollah are helpless without Iran's support and funding. And Iran has only been effective thanks to OBAMA'S funding. If we need to partner closer with Israel to undo that damage for the next few years, I'm all for that.

Furthermore, as I said, if you want peace in the Middle East, you have to have regime change in Iran. However that looks. The Houthis, Hamas, Hezbollah, they are run by Iran. They are the threat to peace. If we want to promote peace, we have to threaten Iran and take them out at the highest level. Israel can't do this by themselves. All the Arab countries for the most part have gotten in line with Trump to broker peace with Israel. The Persians need to be brought to heel to make this happen.

The same rationale applies to why J. Thomas does not have a conflict of interest with respect to the gifts he has received from wealthy friends.

The gift issue is totally different. If a judge, spouse, or a family member (within certain degrees of relations) have a financial interest in the outcome of the case; that must be disclosed. That is not optional.

Im not sure if this job is enough. However i know for sure the judge that forced usaid payments through had a direct conflict since his wife headed a nonprofit funded by usaid grants. That was a direct conflict and one of the worst i ever saw.

He is compromised by the adoption of his kids. He somehow managed to adopt two Brazilian kids, who are white as a Crayola Crayon, by going through Ireland. Those two countries have the most strict adoption laws in the world. To adopt in Ireland, you have to live in country for at least a year. Neither he nor his wife did that. No one can figure out why he even involved a third country in the process, nor why his kids are listed as born outside of their birth country.
