The speed at which they’re moving, with complete disregard to the media bullshit narratives (which they don’t even have time to craft because he’s buried them in EOs) is really unbelievable to see. This is not how Washington works.
My optimism is the damage he’s doing to the bureaucratic nonsensical state that built up over decades is swift and efficient, and attempts to reimplement the nonsensical jobs and initiatives will be much harder and take much more time in the future. So hopefully there is a practical semi-permanency to some of what he’s doing so quickly.

I'm not going to proclaim America as being "back" just yet. Trump has a LOT of work ahead and if you thought the resistance was bad last go around, it's going to be quintuple that. But It seems he at least has better grasp on how to head off much of it this time. I will declare America "back" when four years of Trump is a success to the point J.D. Vance is elected in a landslide to continue that success.
I’m also hoping the anti-American democrats blow their wad challenging every single thing Trump does. If it is simply birthright citizenship that ends up at SCOTUS, Roberts and Coney Barrett will obviously break left given the pressure in the beltway and cocktail circuit. If there are multiple things that end up with SCOTUS, they may actually do a legal, rather than political, analysis of the issues. Knowing they’ll obviously throw some red meat to the left.
