If you throw a lighted match in a box of combustible components, then it is going to explode, cause a big fire, etc.

If you remove most of those combustible components and then throw the match, the effect will be less severe.

The la mayor should absolutely resign and probably at least face s criminal investigation if not prosecution. The fire department warned for several months they wouldn't be able to combat the next fire. In response they got funding cuts and ignored warnings about failed equipment.

Will be interesting. Usually the elites just go lockstep with dems but thats because the problems are usually far away. This time they hit home. Of course Bidens admin knows that's an issue which is why fema was immediately on site and offering full compensation for any damage. Contrast that to the two Appalachian floods of recent years where it took FEMA forever to get on site and they offered people a pittance. Many in those areas are still living in campers or tents.

When I first read your post I thought....right, some kid shooting off fireworks on a Tuesday morning. But I did a little googling....

But Gavin Newsom is the handsome white male many democrats have slated as the heir apparent to their establishment corruption and grift.

Newsom will do everything he can to protect himself and push blame on the mayor of LA to try and shield himself.

The mayor of LA looks far, far too incompetent to publicly take on a fight against that evil lying slimeball.

Wouldn’t surprise me if she ends up in prison.

Newsom has to be in panic mode, despite his greasy demeanor. Not only is his current governorship crumbling, but he's watching '28 go down in flames....literally.

One of the negative outcomes from DEI bullshit, and lefties that value skin color above all else, is this fire chief does seem like she was actually semi competent, though everyone assumes the exact opposite because she’s a lesbian, and since LA politicians would value that above all else, they think she was solely an incompetent diversity hire (like the mayor).

Hopefully we’re finally moving past the age of valuing skin color and sexual orientation over competency.

Why did Drumpf build all those houses in a known fire zone and make the wind blow like that every year and spend billions on illegals while neglecting fire infrastructure and then go off to Africa during a fire warning and then why didn’t he do anything to help before his inauguration?
