Can't say I blame them, especially if they had received information that the fire hazard had went up due to prevention and maintenance incompetence.
That’s because of what the California legislators did.
Had went. 😆😆😆😆😆Can't say I blame them, especially if they had received information that the fire hazard had went up due to prevention and maintenance incompetence.
Why did Drumpf build all those houses in a known fire zone and make the wind blow like that every year and spend billions on illegals while neglecting fire infrastructure and then go off to Africa during a fire warning and then why didn’t he do anything to help before his inauguration?Thousands of years, dummy. These winds aren’t a surprise to anyone with a brain. The wildfires aren’t a surprise to anyone with a brain. The destruction isn’t a surprise to anyone with a brain.
The fact it's hard to tell these days is pretty telling of the state of absurdity we are living in today.I really don't know if that is parody or real...
It depends. This is a false slippery slope argument. Our government currently engages in many socialist policies, farm subsidies, Social Security, military benefits, and the tariffs yall love just to name a few. We're agreeing on the base point which is nobody is looking for an equality of outcome equal wealth "utopia" fantasyland. Equality of opportunity and equality of outcome are vastly different things. We like to think of America as a meritocracy and the best way to let people rise based on merit is equality for those starting out in the game, not equal outcomes no matter how you play it. Capitalism and socialism are partners, not adversaries. Unfettered capitalism is just as bad as unfettered socialism, look at the robber barons of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
From Politico:"Gov. Gavin Newsom and state legislative leaders have agreed to set aside $50 million to defend California — as well as immigrants facing deportation — in court against the incoming Trump White House, according to two people with knowledge of the negotiations."
"The deal, struck through a special legislative session Newsom called to shore up the state’s legal defenses, includes $25 million he sought for state Department of Justice litigation against the federal government. It also contains $25 million state Senate leaders wanted for grants to nonprofit legal groups and centers that support immigrants who are at risk of deportation, detention and wage theft."
If Newsome ran his state properly he wouldn't need to "Trump-proof" it.
DeSantis:
"We are going to need legislation to impose additional duties and provide funding for those local officials."
"There also needs to be measures to hold people accountable."
"I'm going to call the legislature into special session starting Jan. 27. We anticipate executive orders to be issued immediately [on Jan. 20]. We need to act, and we need to act quickly. The American people spoke very clearly."
Meanwhile in California, while the wildfires continue, they are working to 'Trump Proof' California and put aside money to defend in court illegals facing deportation:

One of the few times where I don’t think you can blame the insurance company.
I read that SF pulled out after CA refused, once again, to do any wildfire remediation AND approve a rate increase that SF applied for. Whoever made that decision to pull out of CA at State Farm probably just received a very large bonus. While unfortunate, I don't blame State Farm or any insurance company refusing to do business in a state that will put the company and its policyholders at risk of financial hardship.Exactly. Regulators made it a bad place to do business so business left. Unfortunate timing for sure but was the government's fault as usual.
I can’t help but notice every “community organizer” is just a racist black person who yells racism all the time.
Can't say I blame them, especially if they had received information that the fire hazard had went up due to prevention and maintenance incompetence.
I remember being in LA 10 years ago and thought it was pretty windy.Having no intellectual ability to recognize that it is a combination of everything you mentioned AND climate change that led to the second largest city in America burning to the ground today....is the problem.
Human error and poor preparation alone did not lead to this apocalypse.
You are completely ignoring the 80 mph hurricane force winds.... Record rainfall deficit.... and bone dry conditions resulting from global warming that made this scenario possible.
Being a straight white fire chief with full water hydrants and a few million more in the budget was not ever gonna stop this fire from spreading given the dry ass conditions and hurricane force winds.
It's complex.... which is why right wing media preys on simple people by giving them simple explanations like blaming it all on a fire chief's sexual identity and a tight budget.
It's way more complicated than that.
Why did Drumpf build all those houses in a known fire zone and make the wind blow like that every year and spend billions on illegals while neglecting fire infrastructure and then go off to Africa during a fire warning and then why didn’t he do anything to help before his inauguration?
Why?
I believe the phrase here is "tone-deaf".Biden said he pushed for Secret Service agents to the border...they beat Medicare...the vote doesn't mean they didn't like Biden's policies. This is the Dems A-Team
I'd bet the mortgage on:
He lost me at "Americans are complex beings..."Biden said he pushed for Secret Service agents to the border...they beat Medicare...the vote doesn't mean they didn't like Biden's policies. This is the Dems A-Team
I often shake my head in wonderment when I ponder the far left, and the world/mind space that they live in. It's like they drift around, completely unaware of reality. They're like tumbleweeds; no useful purpose, and always in the way.
I'd bet the mortgage on:
birkenstock clogs
granola in the pantry
and a Subaru in the garage
it’s about time that someone called these guys out for their racism.C.Orgis are the mostest racist. They feed off of it and feed others with it
I hear her accusing them of falsehoods, but not her blaming them as the quote states.
