Not every weather event is climate change you fool. There's a shortage of fire personell because it's impossible to get hired quickly unless you are a woman or person of color

People in California voted on a bill to transfer water. Newsom ignored it.

California hasn't built a new reservoir since 1979

Joe biden canceled planned controlled burns

The mayor of LA cut the fire budget by 20 million and put the focus on DEI to hire a female only chief, not an experienced professional

The infrastructure of California is outdated from an electrical line stand point, instead Newsom funneled alotted funds to his wealthy donors for favors

But if she lied about MRT, shouldn't have that been an easy thing to disprove at the trial, and thereby proving her as an unreliable witness? 2. Which strategy do you think would have been most likely to minimize the risk of catastrophic wildfires in LA? Embarking on some fantasy of stopping the eons long cycles of the Earth warming and cooling by trying to control the carbon emissions in every industrial nation on the planet? Or doing some proactive controlled burns in these high risk areas, clearing the brush that serves as a tinder box, and ensuring an adequate water supply is available for fire fighting crews?

I agree that was likely a factor, if not the deciding factor. And I find that unsatisfying. I get it would be bad, but you have to do the right thing and not allow an innocent person get jobbed. again, not arguing or disagreeing ... in fact I agree. But unsatisfying. JMO
