Here’s an idea, why don’t you guys stop engaging with Dion and he’ll go away. His only joy in life is irritating you and baiting you into responding to him, ignore him so the rest of us don’t have to scroll through all the responses to his idiotic takes. You aren’t going to change his mind so do yourself a favor and ignore him.

If you see a good chance to flame him, by all means proceed, but try and cut down on responding to every post he makes.

Trust me, I've been saying that for months. And yeah, I respond sometimes as you say to 'flame.' But some of the guys on here can't help themselves.

As Stephen Meyer points out in his 2021 book, Return of the GOD Hypothesis: Three Scientific Discoveries that Reveal the Mind Behind the Universe, since naturalism posits nothing outside the physical universe, therefore naturalism “does not qualify as a causally adequate explanation for . . . the beginning of the universe.”

Meyer would tell his students, “If you extrapolate back all the way to a singularity, you eventually reach a point where there is no matter left to do the causing.”

Thats literally it. Life started somewhere. Whether you think it by a deity, some form of matter that sprang into existence somehow, or some other life form; all those beliefs are basically the same - a belief in a higher power that require faith in the impossible to explain life in the universe.

Thats why i think its so funny to see libs in their elitist smarmy tones chiding religion. They believe a slightly different version of the same thing thats no less ridiculous or incredible.

Biden should pardon the shooter in an official act of magnanimity to unite the country.

But their belief isn't grounded in something like the Bible which has thousands of years, tons of physical evidence, and a host of miraculous proofs to back it up. Instead, they base their "faith" on some made-up hooey that was concocted in the last hundred years by arrogant "scientists."

Yea, because religions are known for their concrete, physical, repeatable experiments...
Physical, repeatable (why don't you know the word "falsifiable?") experiments? You mean like the James Webb Space Telescope? The one that SHOCKED the cosmological establishment in 2022? The JWST is designed to see deeper into the infrared than other telescopes in order to find those ‘proto-galaxies’ that supposedly were forming just a few hundred million years after the Big Bang. But what they’re finding is what creationists have predicted they would find: Fully formed galaxies at the greatest distances. Big Bang doctrine is dogmatic against fully formed galaxies at the greatest observed distances.

In the book, God and the Astronomers, astrophysicist Robert Jastrow of NASA’s Goddard Space Center wrote, “For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountains of ignorance; he is about the conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries.”

Moving X to Austin is an improvement by a few degrees. Austin is also WAAAAAYYYY left of center. Not Silicon Valley/Seattle left but very much a liberal city. A lot cheaper to live/conduct business there than CA, of course, but it's not like X is moving to Birmingham. Still, a nice F-You to Newsom, the pretty boy Marxist who wouldn't know the truth if it smacked him in the face.

It's more about Texas vs. California. I'm sure he did sufficient research. It's an expensive move, after all.

CNN hosts look like they have been crying. Dana Bash is dangerously close to a redpill?

Wallace concerned about "media bashing" lolol.

Axelrod just said something about the " officers killed on January 6th". That would be ... no one.
Are they just now coming to the realization that the propaganda they've been forced to spew is just that and spewing it in turn caused themselves to fall victim to the propaganda?

Biden has consistently acted like this towards soldiers and veterans for years now. Shows them no respect, often times out right contemptuous of them. For most people bring up the Bronze Star in that way would be bizarre, but it is classic Biden.

“No honey really, it’s Elon Musks fault!”
lol hilarious that’s your response after the article was posted. Crazy how you guys obsess over Musk because he supports Trump. As if he can do no wrong. So you love electric cars too since his Teslas are so nice?

Silicon Valley is shifting....

Musk will be operating more under "Texas" than a specific area. Regardless, getting the hell out of that liberal hell hole on the west coast will be awesome.

Is it true the shooter was stopped by security and they found a range finder on him?

Yup. He passed through security with it and that’s when they first began to follow his moves. Unbelievable.

As I’ve followed this looking at it as objectively as possible there is so much that simply does not happen it’s unreal. More and more merging into a lane that this was allowed to happen at minimum.

One belief admits it takes faith while your belief is in denial.
Roger Penrose calculated the odds against our well-balanced universe of solar systems and galaxies, whereas the by-far-most-likely result from a Big Bang would have been just one giant ball of mass which would collapse into one giant black hole, or at best a number of big black holes. The odds he calculated are 1 in 10 raised to the 10^123 power. Yes, the exponent is 10 raised to the power of 123. The number is inconceivable. There are “only” about 10^80 particles in the entire universe. You literally can't even WRITE the number.

OR...

God did it.

Issue is agnostic implies you’re questioning. I’m not. I have a pretty good idea about things based on the realms of scientific knowledge. There would have to be some obvious proof to counteract the current preponderance. Which is absolutely possible, but not likely. So “agnostic” seems lame. If you tell someone you’re agnostic in America they generally assume you’re a lapsed Christian. While technically correct it isn’t usually more practically correct in terms of quickly conveying concepts.

You and science cannot answer the questions you demand of theists, which rejects your “ pretty good idea about things based on the realms of scientific knowledge” claim. You have a faith in science not yet discovered that it will substantiate your belief system. If pure faith is evil, you embrace evil.

Question narratives? You’re being fed the ultimate narrative. God is not real. He does not care for you. There is no reward when you die. All these things have been made up to keep you in line. The most successful made up narrative in the history of mankind.

Prove it and I will come back to atheism.

If this isn't a cause to be optimistic, I don't know what is!
How are high tariffs not high taxes? They really hit the lower classes.

But, if you do these, & perhaps higher sales & gas taxes, and then refund those receipts equally to all citizens, it's OK as the lower income folks get more back than they spend.

This is just as crazy as those who say the thing was staged. Social media permits this nutty influence on both sides of the political spectrum. If this had any merit, someone within the system would blow the whistle. The government is filled with people of all political persuasions. This is a nutty theory.

Bro, Donald Trump was in WWE. He learned the art of blading there. No shots were even fired. He ducked and bladed his ear when he was in the ground. Then pretended to be hurt to get a big pop.

It makes perfect sense if you don’t think about it
