Has anybody gotten an answer as to what 45 did that was so bad, they would not vote for him? Mean tweets, and no giveaways? Holding people accountable? I've yet to see a legit reason.
They have none, and they patently refuse to engage in a discussion of his policies and agendas because they can't legitimately argue what was wrong with them. All they can do is bring up "MuH..Jan. 6th" or in VHS's case "MuH...Dec. 14th". They completely ignore all the good he accomplished despite the insane backlash and resistance on all fronts. These are Anti-Americans who will gladly sell our country to the globalists and send us down the path of tyranny, a lifetime of constant surveillance, forced mandates and attacks on our freedoms just to get rid of the mean awful Trump.

I have seen in other threads on this website and FB where some people are saying they are ok with paying higher gas prices because of Russia and they are really blessed to still be able to get gas for their cars. That is where this country is at now when a segment of the population who can afford the prices are "blessed" to be able to do so for the greater good when we know full well this country can produce its own energy anytime it wants when not regulated to oblivion by Washington. These are the same people who "care" about their fellow man yet are completely oblivious to how stupid they sound when the people they supposably care about are being destroyed due to inflation and these gas prices simply because of reckless politicians they support. This country is so screwed.

You guys might find this funny. I was looking up lobbying and stumbled upon this definition of bribery vs lobbying by investopedia. 😂

"Bribery is an effort to buy power while lobbying is just an effort to influence it."

Also, if you ever want to see stupidity that's even worse than these forums, go over to a Facebook comment section of the Herald Leader, LEX 18, or WKYT. You'll struggle to tell who is a bot and who isn't a brain dead leftist and get treated to gems like "They should drop an atomic bomb on Russia to stick it to Putin."

And if anyone calls out the utter hypocrisy of companies virtue signaling about Russia while being silent on China, the lefties will rush to call that person an idiot. Of course, their profile picture will have an "I am vaccinated" or Ukraine flag filter.

Gone are the days when the majority of people vote with their wallets and common sense.

Maybe 10-15 years before Trump, I started saying I would love to get somebody in the White House that was more like a regular guy, and not a politician. That maybe a person like that could change things. Sure, Trump is not a regular guy at all, but he damn sure wasn't a politician either.

To see the backlash of everything that happened to that man after he was elected was amazing to me. A man who was in the public eye for most of my life was now a racist. Russian collusion. Good people. Shitholes. All Mexicans are rapists. Impeached twice and I still don't know why exactly. January 6.

There are two things to always remember about the Trump era:
One is that indeed there is a swamp, and it will truly protect itself.
Two is that there are a lot of people that want career politicians to govern over them.

Number one was an eye opener for me, and number two truly makes me scratch my head. When I think of the future, at first I was like the country cannot take another Trump, or Trump'ish presidency because of all the dumpster fires that came along with Trump. That maybe we are better off with a more moderate, less polarizing president.

After seeing what career politician Brandon and all the other career politicians are now doing to this country, I feel like I am ready to welcome Trump back, or someone very much like him. Maybe getting another straight shooting non-politician in the White House can lead to policies that help the American people, a lot more than career politicians. And hopefully we can start with term limits. I lean towards burn the old way down now.

This.

I'd even take someone like Mark Cuban. I'm not a conservative, and really, I wouldn't care that much if he implemented some socialism to placate all these worthless bitches we have.

When you get someone like that, someone with FU money who is probably more concerned with his ego and legacy than being liked by the deep state or media, things will get done and it will invariably be better than this BS we have now, even if you disagree ideologically. If, in the process of all that, he couldn't help himself and made the Dallas mavericks great again, then so be it.

Big deal.

"Implementing some socialism" has already happened in this country, and is the SOLE reason why things are so effed up right now.

Some woman from New Jersey said she is fine with $10 per gallon because Ukraine can not survived if we do not pay more for gasoline. SMH Who is in her head?

They're zombies, man. Phony as hell too.

They care so much about their fellow man that they will hate whoever their TV tells them to. They care so much about people that they support destroying someone and getting them fired if they don't get a shot. I know when I care about people, I try to get them fired so they can't provide for a spouse and their children.

Their virtue signaling knows no bounds too. It's simple. If it's something about the Democrats, they support it. If it's anyone else, they hate it. Russia? Bad. China? Good. BLM? Good. Canadian Truckers? Bad.

Here's the kicker with your post when you get these clowns who support this. They are incapable of understanding anything that isn't from their own prism. They're fine with lockdowns because it didn't affect their job. Their paycheck. They got to work at home in a lot of cases. They don't care about paying more (this is hilarious brainwashing) because it doesn't disturb their comfort. But those who struggle in the low and middle class? Who cares? What's laughable is when they blend in and out of pretending to care about people. This is the group who talks about blacks like they're pets and love to virtue signal about a different country but couldn't give a single shit of the financial consequences this causes people's lives and businesses.

It's always different until it's their wallet, their neighborhood, their jobs, their kids, their freedom.

There is a thread on Rafters about whether or not gas prices will impact travel to Tampa.

While I agree with the sentiment that it won’t change the plans this week, for those who planned this weeks/months ago, there is a contingent there that clearly has no grasp on the broader economic impact of what is going on here.

They think you can literally boil this down to a single, increased expenditure of $150, and ignore the broader impact of everything that is happening.

Just wait until the masses start having emergencies at home (need a repair,
Or something replaced), have car trouble, etc.

Supply is tight and prices are skyrocketing.

Two years after launching Covid, the elites are getting their way.

“We have the wealth to do whatever we want. The rest of you must sacrifice for the greater good.”

Yeah plenty of people throw out their morals when it’s their own backyard. Those’re what’re known as bad people.

I agree. All our problems can in some form be directly traced to our social democracy.

But what's worse? Mark Cuban and some 1k monthly universal income checks for the leftists, or them bumbling us into WW3 with their TDS fueled incompetence?

It would also lessen their need for all the social division they create for political expediency.

You folks seen the Omnibus bill yet. 2.1% increase for troops vs 21% increase for Congressional offices. 87 million for Capital Police. That is just some of the bullshit.

14B for Ukraine. 1B for the southern border. Oh, and this asshole says,

Money laundering. That's all this is. Elites transferring your wealth to unaccountable puppet governments disguised as "humanitarianism."

I get what you're saying, but you have to guard against specious arguments. ANY socialism ALWAYS opens the door for more. Giving Universal Income checks to leftists will only get worse. We don't have to accept the false choice of either socialism or WWIII. It's okay to oppose BOTH things. Cuban would be a HORRIBLE President because he has the wrong guiding principles. He's smart but he doesn't LOVE this country like a guy like Trump does.

And there's no guarantee Cuban wouldn't make the same blunders on foreign policy that Biden is making. Democrat presidents have the worst track record in that area.

More please. Now ban all of this shit and start to actually teach basic education.

That UPI headline is a LIE. It's not even called the 'don't say gay' bill and it doesn't ban 'talk' about those issues. It only bans INSTRUCTION FOR K-3RD GRADE.

It all makes sense if you understood how things work.

-If it turns out good, the Democrats did it.
-If it turns out bad, it's actually Republicans' fault or claim you have no control over it but at the same time, claim you can control the weather and every unfair thing in life.
-If you're proven wrong and your failure is on full display, claim it's actually a good thing.

Also, despite being the system claim you can fix the wrongs of the system. Rinse and repeat.

That is actually really bad news unless she is going over there to give out free blowjobs. Poland is one of the only NATO members that could go toe to toe with Russia and have a decent chance of making it.

Biden already pissed them off with the whole fighter jet debacle. The US cannot afford to screw up the relationship we have with Poland, period.

Give an inch...they take a foot.
Give a foot....they take a yard.
Give a yard....well, you get the idea.

All the Federal 'giveaway' programs started out small and look at them now. Not only do they want what is already on the books even bigger (more $$$). They come up with even more programs/giveaways...ala universal income check, etc.

The Swamp made it clear that any outsider will be destroyed if they try and interrupt how business is conducted in Washington. If Trump wins again, it will be more leaks, Dems trying to impeach, RHINO's stabbing him in the back, and career/corrupt bureaucrats doing everything possible to railroad him and anyone who supports him. Our government is too big, powerful and corrupt to ever fix via elections.
