The guy was in the U.S. for about 3 or 4 weeks speaking at different functions, churches, etc. and they (police) were waiting for him when he flew back in...like he was on the Top 10 most wanted list.

No, there was record Republican turnout in GA for a special election. That is literally the opposite of people staying home.
