Wonder if Moe or Z demand Hillary denounce the endorsement from a gay hating terrorists dad.

There is a difference in a furniture company moving from Michigan to North Carolina, and a textile mill moving to the South and companies moving to Vietnam or Mexico or China. Surely you can see the difference.
You're right about them chasing profits, thats why its the elected officials responsibility to look after the Americans they represent over funds from a corporation. Thats why we elect them. When they stop making us the priority its time for them to go home.

Of course, I see the difference. So, which companies/industries do you think the gov't should subsidize? Fledgling ones ? Old ones? Efficient ones? Inefficient ones? Do you think we should subsidize cars made by foreign companies with plants here? Do you think we should subsidize cars that are merely assembled here? The reason I ask is that trade deals are enormously complicated. I bet the automobile section of the TPP involve hundreds of similar decisions broken down by individual components and spanning dozens of countries. Do you think any non-expert could contrive a better deal just by putting some sealed envelopes to his head a la Carnac? (In case you're confused, my image makes fun of Donald Trump because he seems to believe he can negotiate better deals just because he's Donald Trump. He can no longer rent money from American banks, just because he's Donald Trump, but he can negotiate better deals in industries he doesn't know anything about. Just because he's Donald Trump. He's very sure that he's the only one who can.)

Remember the left and their pounding Trump over David Duke?
Hell, the left still brings that up sometimes. But they've been totally silent over Omar Mateens father.

Just goes to show that the left doesn't actually give a damn about gays. They are a minority that the left uses for votes.

Anyone who has any sense of politics knows Trump is an Independent masquerading as a Republican because that is his only shot to win. I do not expect him to follow through with every conservative issues he has talked about. Just keeping nut jobs off the SCOTUS would make his term(s) a success. Actually see 3-4% GDP growth would be a tremendous accomplishment. Do something about illegal immigration and at least make the US respectable in the world again. Can you imagine our government actually getting a balanced budget? If he accomplishes just half those things his Presidency would be considered a major success given the current mess this government is now.

TPP isn't in place, it doesn't have to be renegotiated, and yeah, I think NAFTA can be changed, personally think it should be done away with, but thats not going to happen.

Nothing has to be subsidized, do you not understand simple negotiating? The US as of right now still has the leverage. It's like when someone asks you for a "I don't want to sell it price". They REALLY want it, and you don't Really want to sell, but will for a helluva price.
Of course the deals are complicated, there's shit snuck in those we have no idea how it will affect the country long term, just like NAFTA.

Funny you just stated earlier you were a Bernie supporter, yet you're all about some free trade, or at least Trump going after it.

I guess Moe is fine with a homophobe endorsing Hillary. A homophobe thats son murdered around 50 gay people at a gay club. Pathetic.

So, do you think of the whole NC gay business. The bathroom paranoia? The restriction on cities to enact gay rights legislation?

The reason I ask is that I've already answered the question in a post prior to this. You'll want to be on the record too.

A tariff is a subsidy. We have subsidies for many products & I'd trust Sanders over Trump in actually negotiating those with an eye on preserving viable jobs. This is the major thing that I don't think Trump supporters understand. There are lots of problems that Trump goes on about. For none of them is Donald Trump even helpful. Much less the answer. The words he mouths are just a sales pitch. He's a salesman. He understands what it takes to close a deal. You all keep seeming to think there's some kind of understanding or concern in him beyond closing the deal. Why? What about him says "authentic"? The steaks? The TV show? The casinos? The bluster? The shrugging and mugging? Lots of people talk about that stuff and Republicans settled upon the biggest most vacant of all. (well, except for Huckabee, He's worse. )

So typical. In true leftist form you deflect.

You would trust Bernie Sanders negotiating an economic deal over a man that has negotiated economic deals his entire career?

The man has ran a company that currently has 22000 employees. And you think Bernie has more business sense?

Trump is like Calipari, his public persona is bigger than life, grandiose, showman, but he's also a savy leader and knows his craft.

In fact you sound just like Louisville fans word for word about Cal. And yet Calipari just keeps on winning and kicking their ass.

Hey Moe…I'm just curious. Are you a true Hillary Clinton supporter? I mean, are you voting for her BECAUSE of her? Or are you a straight party voter? Or do you just not like Trump? Or is it a mixture of all of that stuff?

Moe doesn't even know what he supports. he just regurgitates MSNBC talking points as truth and fact. that is the only world he understands. fall in line. these people say they are smart so they must be, right. the media wouldn't lie to me. therefore, i believe them. /Moe

Import Tariffs make people poorer. Look at the steel industry. We have tariffs on steel because outside steel is considered too cheap....thus we protect local steel. So what happens...the person who deals in steel gets wealthy because he has no competition, yet all of his consumers domestically are paying higher because the cheaper alternatives were eliminated, and the domestic can even set their own price. The market is supposed to dictate the demand, not the producer.

Hush. Big Daddy Government is supposed to create easy, mind-numbing, well-paying jobs for me.

Lmao did Donald say something about shooting Hillary to death?

Twitter is concerned. Lmao

Here's the best part of this, and something all sides should appreciate:

R's don't get it. They don't get the digital world and the meme society, trolling, social networks, etc...the things D's have ruled.

Donald gets it but the media doesn't get that he gets it. He's supposed to be crazy racist old republican guy. OMG HE SAID HES GONNS BUILD S WALL THAT LOON. OMG DONALD PUT A HIT ON HILLARY...

And he gets the headlines, buzz, etc. which gets his potential voters engaged.

Meanwhile, Hillary is a locked in a bunker somewhere and she has zero buzz.

It's odd to see the script flipped.

But it's because Trunp ain't a R, he ain't these people, he gets it in a way.

[laughing][roll][roll][roll][laughing]

Had to stop there. Say what? Please tell me how a tariff is a subsidy? Sure they are both measures used by governments to help domestic companies…but they go about it in a completely different way.

A tariff is a tax on imported goods which drives the price up on the imported product which helps the domestic companies with the higher priced products stay competitive...and the government generates revenue in the process.

A subsidy is a handout. Nothing more…nothing less. It is just the government giving tax payer money to the domestic companies to offset the lack of revenue/profit that they are losing because imports are cheaper for consumers…and this helps them stay competitive in the short term…and sometimes basically keeps them from going out of business. They can be effective in that regard and they can stimulate the domestic economy in the short term, but they generate no revenue for the government in the process. In fact they do the exact opposite…because the government is losing money because it is an expense for the government…they are just handing out tax payer money to the domestic companies. (Given…there are usually stipulations to this handout…but it is still an expense for the government). That's why governments usually choose to go the tariff route.

The downside to tariffs is that it usually drives down consumer consumption because the prices on the products themselves are higher overall…the domestic product price is higher already and the import price is higher because of the tariff added to their price. A subsidy usually keeps consumer consumption higher because there is no added price to the product itself. So, while tariffs do succeed in leveling the playing field for domestic companies…it doesn't always have the desired effect of stimulating the domestic economy…it could in fact have the opposite effect.

Now, we can argue till the cows come home on which one is a better tactic for the feds to use…or if they should use neither and just stay out of the way. But please stop saying that "a tariff IS a subsidy". That's moronic.

Learn Economics 101.

It was pretty obvious Trump was talking about second amendment voters. The media is making it sound like hes advocating for Hillary to be murdered. Pathetic reporting as usual.

More careless remarks from Trump on what he clearly thinks is funny in insinuating guns are the answer if Hillary Clinton wins in November. Whether intentional or not, the man clearly does not understand the responsibility of the position he holds nor the power of the words that office holds.

Imagine a true crisis with him as President? Carelessly reacting without thinking over the impact of the words coming out of his mouth as the President of the United States. The full implications of that. The brink of a nuclear exchange between India and Pakistan hinging on the words of a sitting US President. China forcefully attacking Taiwan to scratch their most ancient hatreds. Russian troops rolling across European borders. The world looking to Donald Trump for leadership and parsing his every word for meaning. Direction. A signal for what our intentions might be in a moment of crisis with the fate of nations in the balance.

Or will they just turn away having completely lost confidence in American leadership? The United States President openly advocating torture and an alliance with Russia. Calling into question our support of fellow NATO countries. Casually dismissing the Russian annexation of Crimea.

How do you think the world will react to that? With confidence or will they abandon the idea of the United States as the leader of the free world?

that filthy RINO subversive Jeff Sessions just called out Trump for the assassination insinuation.

[QUOTE="Teachable Moe, post:

Swedish literature for the last boocoo years has been obsessed with the rise of skinheads and the far right. [/QUOTE]

Big difference in a few skinheads and welfare white trash rednecks. And they aren't worried about their far right--they are more concerned with Muslim immigrants as they are now sending them back. They also have virtually no multi-generational welfare recipients. Always laughable when the Left compares the US with Scandinavia....5 countries with a total population combined that is less than Texas. Great comparison.

How does Omar Mateen's father = David Duke?

So now parents are responsible for the actions of their 29 yr old children?
I guess you would be in favor of whenever someone is sent to prison or let's say dies in the act of a crime, we should go arrest their parents and send them to prison too.

Mateen's dad is himself a very problematic fellow. And, if you don't get it by now, you never will. Blocked!
