The cspan footage of Trump before and after his speech is great. Trump is such a ****ing wierdo.

and these prohibitions will not only apply to the tremendous amount of trade and cargo, but various other things as we get approval. Anything coming from Europe to the United States is what we are discussing. These restrictions will also not apply to the United Kingdom.
That and people will get mad because he wants to charge a fee for the vaccine.
Honestly, if we are going to cancel basketball tournaments, that don't even have fans in the stands, being played by the most fit people in the country...hell just cancel everything. Shut down every restaurant, business, airport, bar...it's over. Corona isn't going to kill us all...but it will destroy all joy.

I think we're all going to have to revisit how populous and globally interconnected we want this world to be.
I'm not saying countries totally retreat and isolate, but I think it's time to decentralize every damn industry from China and nearby areas.
I think it's time to look at whether or not we want to over incentivize procreation.
Damn near 1.5 billion people in China, and that's with a history of throwing baby girls in rivers. They could stand to wrap it up a couple of times and pull out just to be safe for a decade or two and still have more people than they can handle. Same goes for India. WTF does any country need over a billion people for?
A third of a billion is getting to be a bit much for us here.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again diseases, outbreaks, cancers, aids, etc...it's all mother nature's way of saying "hey guys and girls, let's ease up a bit here...how about everyone put their peckers and hoo haas up for a bit and just chill out..."

No, if he were competent he wouldn’t have dismantled the CDC to start. Then he wouldn’t have tried to dismiss the threat claiming it a hoax.
Again, much of the panic has been because all of the mixed messages. Trump and his lackeys being dismissive while public health officials were sending up warnings. Add the fear within the remains of the CDC if anyone dare contradict dear leader...off with their heads. So how much public health info was suppressed?
Nobody with any sense has any faith in his ability to handle this or any crisis because his first thoughts are always about him. Calling this a hoax by itself should be enough to show incompetence. Yet I’m sure his cult will continue to make excuses.

Congress just ended another hearing where administration officials said right now not everyone can be tested and that currently testing rates are actually going down not up because of problems with the kits. Even the republican congressmen were saying how terrible the testing is going.

Hence why he immediately sent out tweets and Facebook posts and sent all his people to the new networks to try and fix the screw up as the markets crashed. He can't even read a speech from a prompter.
I listened to Trumps speech live, and in no way thought he banned cargo. I was browsing the internet at the time, but I guess I just thought when he said he was banning “travel”, travel implied people who can travel.
Then he mentioned cargo and trade right after saying restrictions will be subject to conditions on the ground and there will be exemptions for Americans.

Next time pay more attention to his words. When a president is giving an oval office address he sure as hell is going to be taken 100% literally and he better have his speech down when the world economy is on the verge of collapse. He screwed up the wording and caused mass investor panic. And he also lied about the health insurance waivers. They will not be waiving any cost of treatments like he said. Only payments for testing. There is a huge ****ing difference between testing and treatment.

The government has downplayed this virus and delayed getting tests out because they don't want us to know how many cases there are out there. I can guarantee you there are tens of thousands of infected vs. 1500.
