Also all the public health experts have said his actions will do nothing to help the public. They do further crush airline and other travel related stocks.
The market hasn’t collapsed because of Trump saying that, it’s collapsed because of public reactions and oil dropping 30% all at the same time.
I just listened to Dr Fauci day exactly why they cancelled the travel from Europe and why it was recommended.
This is uncharted territory, the time to judge whether the actions worked is afterwards, not right in the middle.
My personal opinion is this entire situation is overblown and there is little to nothing the govt can do to prevent an outbreak in today’s world.

So the House Democrats have come out with a bill to "ban" the President from calling for a "Travel Ban". And people say this "illness" is not political.

OK, this would be a good time to cancel the Presidential election. We have a mass crisis in America and no one has voting on their mind. Shut down the election and when things calm down we can have a vote. Say 2030
How much do you want to bet those statistics will be the same two weeks from now (1 out of every 247K). Let's think through this. Testing kits are just now starting to roll out. What happens when many people begin to get tested because they are showing symptoms? Name your dollar amount. I agree it there is a lot of panic, but the US is just getting started with this. It won't remain at 1 out of 247K
Trump put a travel ban on China back in December before anyone ever heard of this. What more is one supposed to do? Can't ban all travel because that's opposed. He took flak for doing what he did.
Everyone will be exposed regardless of what we do. That's why the panic was key to avoid, but politics had the Dems ramping that up high time.
What we should do is drop about 20 nukes on China for this nonsense. It's almost a certainty they created this virus, for one reason or another. Who knows what they'll create next.

The Spanish Flu is said to have killed upwards of 50 million people worldwide. Can you imagine if that happened in today’s environment?
Man, talk about total suck. Just total.
I'm more upset about a potential tournament cancellation than I am about the thousands of $ my stock portfolio lost so far this month.
