Like others have already pointed out...your entire argument is very, very dumb for multiple reasons...not the least of which is the fact that you are comparing a federal employee (soldier on the GI Bill) to a municipal employee (firefighter).
However, your dumbassedness notwithstanding, most bigger cities do offer good benefit programs for firefighters...including tuition reimbursement...including Louisville Metro (see below). Don’t quote me but I believe it is between $2000 - $3000 per year depending on the individual situation. Might be more than that in certain circumstances.
