He teachers, when your pension reaches crises level again, and it will, dont come crying to conservatives to fix it. You vote out the guy who fixed in favor of the son of the guy who screwed it up in the first place. Now you wont have any sympathy and you'll eventually get exactly what you deserve. Congrats!

Not at all. I think its hilarious and wont hurt myself and other like minded people at all. Republicans can keep that socialist at bay for a few years and then he'll be voted out in a landslide. I wont lie though, I'm going to thoroughly enjoy the next teacher pension crisis. The teachers just ensured it's coming again.

In about three months time, it'll be tough to find teachers willing to admit voting beshear. Although we saw the sick outs, sit ins, protests, inauguration marches. They'll be ashamed to admit they were so duped.

Nah. The Dems and msm will blame Bevin. Obama blamed bush for eight years without being challenged on it

CNN's White House Correspondent is doing incredible work in *checks notes*...the year 2020.

He has spent his day trying to figure out how many Senators who voted against witnesses in the year...let me check again...still 2020...came from states of the old Confederacy. That war ended 155 years ago.

Great work today John. You are definitely CNN material.

Just for reverence, there are about 42,000 teachers. Plus a lot of people who work in the schools who are not "teachers". Count their families and people they persuaded, and it adds up.

However, I know several teachers who were openly for Bevin, so its not all of them.

Of course not. You show a real lack of intelligence even trying to make that point. The simple fact remains the teachers decided this election.
You are a complete dumbass, tell me which teachers voted for Beshear? If you can’t then you shouldn’t blame the whole election on teachers. Bevins was an ass, only to be proven with his idiotic or shameless pardons when he left office. You look stupid blaming an entire election on one profession, only an unintelligent moron would do that. Ignoring the glaring flaws in Bevins and the other hundreds of thousands non teachers that voted for Beshear. Just because your dumbass saw a protest on the news does not mean that’s the only reason he lost or the only group responsible.

You're checking all the boxes of a very unintelligent person. Keep up the name calling and ignorant remarks. I really dont feel up for explaining how the teachers influenced this election. I'll leave that up to someone else who still cares enough to try and educate the uneducated. The only thing I'll say is there is a VERY small number of people in a given election who can have their vote swayed or influenced. The MASSIVE majority had their vote decided at birth. So no, I'm not discussing over 700 thousand voters. I'm talking about the few who truly influenced the outcome.

You seem like a simpleton not able to see a diverse election but only able to compute one single factor to rail against. If you aren’t able to compute more than one variable then your dumbass should avoid throwing around intelligence assessments.

Come on dude. Let's say there are 4.5 million people in Kentucky. And let's say that 1.4 million of them are teachers. Are you going to tell me that half of them didn't vote stupid?

I'm usually on your side, but you have to admit, you're being grounded in reality here.

Good lord that TurnipDaBeet is a thread killer in the Paddock...not sure who is doing that stupid act but gawd is it awful.

I put that idiot on ignore about a month or so ago. No need for that shit to interrupt my perfect life.

No one said every teacher voted for him. That's a strawman. But anyone trying to argue teachers didn't swing this election is just sticking their head in the sand.

Andy is 83,000,000 short on funding the retirement, about a month after LHL reported the audit results showing Bevin fully funded the pension.

A pension is a promise?

I'm guessing now kea will again start circulating marching orders and organizing sick outs, protests where teachers get kids to make posters, marches on the capital, social media campaigns, and weaponizing their members with text blasts to forward to everyone?

Bevins beat Bevins, this guy insulted teachers by blaming them for child abuse because they protested. That’s stupid as hell to attack the people you need to get elected. He beat himself, to lay all the blame on one profession is just being a staunch Republican that’s sees no wrong in the candidate. It’s not the teachers fault that Bevins was a jackass more concerned with his ego than getting re-elected.

Had he talked to them with respect he would still be here, that’s on him. The teachers paid their share and not only don’t get what they were promised but get insulted to boot? Blame Bevins for fn himself. If you want to say teachers tipped the scales because Bevins mishandled the situation then fine but to blame them is wrong, it’s his own fault.

Don't put me in there goddammit! All I did was make a joke. I know good and well why Bevin lost. He tried to emulate THE DONALD and he doesn't possess that cult of personality. He could have smoothed on by but he chose to be a dick.

Never go full dick.

It's OK. I'm drunk and ready to throw down. I've been giving frontrunner shit on a thread and I like that dude. I'm confrontational when I'm confronted. White privilege.
White privilege huh [laughing]. I have teachers in my family and subsequently know more of them, it’s just one topic that I side with teachers over a Republican governor.

Beshear won because Jefferson and Fayette counties voted for him. That's it. That's all we need to know. He won 2 counties out of 120. There is no electoral college in state elections. Pretty good corollary for what would happen in America under the same conditions.

Guess what? I'd vote for you to be POTUS. Or Somedudecro. Or Austintxcat. Or Warriorcat. Would probably vote for John the Canuck. Dwaynmeighen would be a great candidate. Anyone who I could be sure has the best interest of the country in mind would be great instead of someone who's only worried about their reelection efforts.

Just like basketball, it isn't rocket science. Take the Constitution and follow it. It's just that easy.

I would do it myself but I'm not electable. My first act would be to make voting dependent upon not taking government handouts. Take our money and STFU. Not talking about SS that is earned after 62.

Woo boy! I'm doing 2 ounce shots now. It would take a badass Russian to drink with me shot for shot.

Lincoln wanted to “preserve the union”. No matter what the tabulation is those are states as much as any other state.
