Most tax incentives require a business to invest money in a venture or location when they normally wouldn’t do so otherwise. For example, building a plant in an economically depressed area.
As well as a minimum # of FTE's at that location that will pay the city tax year over year. The incentives get the companies in, then the employees pay the city tax to them.

You’re illustrating a fundamental misunderstanding of the situation. Trump isn’t Putin’s ally. He’s his bitch. Puppet, servant, toadie. Whatever word you want to use. Putin sees him just like the rest of his underlings, lesser beings to be mocked and ridiculed for his entertainment.
So why would he undermine his puppet? If Trump is doing Putin’s bidding, he would want him admired and respected in order to further his agenda. You'd be smart enough to realize all of this if you could ditch your liberal over lord brain washing. Think for yourself and use some logic. At least be consistent in your conspiracy theories. Unlike most on here, I think you are better than this.

The goal isn’t to install Trump as US dictator for life who would need to be respected and feared. That would never work. The goal is to sow as much chaos and discord among the American populace as possible. Putin is playing a postmodern disinformation game where the goal is to keep your enemies divided by denying them any consistency so they always question what’s real. He knows Trump is loved by some, loathed by others. So he gives both sides ammunition to fire at each other. I wasn’t the one who brought his propaganda here, my posts on the topic were attempts to clarify his intentions. All of this is laid out in Russian special forces literature, see Foundations of Geopolitics. You’re attempting to lay out a logical narrative of “If Trump and Putin are pals, why would they do things to “hurt” each other?” Aggressive public posture towards Russia and military support for Ukraine fall under this umbrella. They’re red herrings designed to confuse. The entire point is to NOT have a logical narrative for anyone to follow, thereby keeping your enemies eternally off-balance. It’s intentionally inconsistent.

like I said...you dumb. Russia is just another failed socialist state with a dictator who is unGodly rich..that's how socialism works. As a state, only the democrats and euro lefties have built them up on the world stage as some boogeyman.

besides, most of what you said, the world powers have been doing to each other for a 100 years now. you are just stupid.

Did you miss that whole Cold War thing?

100 years? High-speed 4G access to the hearts and minds of every US citizen tailored by big data that knows everything about you wasn’t exactly all the rage in 1932. I understand your point that we’ve all been playing the Great Game for a long time. But that game is constantly evolving. Shit changed big time August 6, 1945 when we dropped the bomb. It changed again February 4, 2004 with social media. We ignore that at our own peril.

I keep seeing alternative news sources citing that Virginia has withdrawn the AR-15 confiscation bill and "moderated" some of the other proposed gun bills after the showing of protestors the other day. Nothing from the mainstream but crickets.
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/...confiscation-after-1000s-of-nra-members-show/

Somebody want to tell them they just lost their ass in the next election?

Republicans in Virginia are complete RINO's. That is what needs to change before Virginia gets back on track. The RINO's are for the same agenda the demsocialcommunist are in this burg...

Easy to understand why America's healthcare is so expensive, why medicare is a better answer, and why Americans are getting screwed by corporate healthcare.

A $42,000 salary in 1973 meant you could afford to live in the richest part of town. If Biden couldn't afford child care with that standard of living he had a problem with his finances. Translate that to 2020 and he is unfit to lead this nation.

(edited to correct a mistake. I meant child care not health care). But both were very affordable in 1973.

You have to find ways to encourage minority groups massed up in ghettos to spread out while not forcing out through gentrification.

I agree with your post except this. Over the course of history people prove time and again they want to live near and socialize with those most like them.

I think the better approach is to encourage them to do better and take personal ownership over their lives. Then if they chose to live somewhere else they can.

Not ghettos as those are full of caucasians.

Welp

How are tax incentives not payments? Government doesn't get the money they would have.

No offense but if you have to ask that question you won't understand the answer

Racism was literally the 8th word
in your post but you don’t like that word because it’s a shield. Got it.

Also literally, this is about statistics and agendas. There’s no semantics involved.

If commercials promoting the NBA showed half or more of the players as white, not just one commercial, but most, a sane person with a functioning frontal lobe would question it as an obvious lie pushing an obvious agenda. Such questions are only racist to the very dimmest of minds.

No, I don't like the word "racism" because it's overused and watered down. Perhaps not the best choice of word in this case; however, I just can't understand why anyone would object to interracial heterosexual couples being portrayed in commercials, even if it is much more common than it used to be. I agree about companies having woke agendas, and it irritates the hell out of me. Virtue-signaling is everywhere in media, and I believe it's a valid concern. Having said that, I wouldn't put interracial marriage under that umbrella because I don't see how it's a threat to society. I try to follow the Bible as much as I can, and there's nothing in there condemning interracial marriage. Marriage is defined as a bond between a man and a woman. Period. That's the standard I hold. So if I see a commercial with a black man and a white woman as a married couple, I breathe a sigh of relief that it's not two black men, or two white women, or three transgenders, or whatever other combos are out there. I believe those send a destructive message and are a more existential threat to society.

We as conservatives need to be intentional about avoiding blanket condemnations that weaken our positions. Objecting to interracial couples on commercials is an easily assailable position because it undermines the stated belief in traditional marriage between a man and a woman. If there is a white heterosexual couple and an interracial heterosexual couple in a commercial, objecting to one over the other is based on one thing: skin color. Pretty easy to call that racism, in spite of any statistical inconsistencies. Choose your battles.

He's always just full of shit.

He was talking about childcare, not healthcare.

Most moms were the childcare back then. Stay at home moms were the norm, not the outlier.

My dad worked for his father with my mom at home. My grandfather gave him a raise in 1973 because my dad was fathering his 4th child at 45.

He went from making $100/wk to $125/wk.

I can't remember hearing my dad bitch about how unobtainable childcare was then.

You obviously don't have the info on administrative costs of medicare vs private insurers. Even after all the PR and statistic manipulation private "think Tanks" could generate Medicare is still substantially lower than private insurance and this graph a good deal of the reason why.

Thanks for pointing out my mistake. I was thinking child care not health care. I had two children in 1973 and not once did the cost of child care cross my mind and I was only making $25,000 a year. My wife raised our children as a stay at home mom. We decided before we were married she would do that.

Mark Levin really called out the 5 or 6 Benedict Arnold gop senators last night for letting this sham continue with a trial. It's pathetic to even give this garbage the time of day. You start a trial and it's liable to go until baseball season

What's worse is that it validates the sham of an impeachment. When are Republicans going to sack-up and play hard ball?

Another Trump administration sexual deviant and child predator!!!

George A. Nader, 60, admitted that he arranged to transport a 14-year-old boy from Europe to Dulles International Airport for purposes of illegal sexual conduct in early 2000.

This is yet another Trumper! I wonder how many children who are raped. molested, and trafficked will it take for my republicans friends and family to even SUSPECT something may be wrong? What's the old saying? "You are judged by who you keep company with."
