Let's also not forget this was in direct response to an attack on our embassy, which for whatever reason is seen as no big deal. The Democrats through Kerry coordinated with Suleimani to have protests in the Middle East at US embassies. This was to embarrass Trump during the election. Taking hostages like 1979 was probably not out of the question.

Not to venture too far from the road, but did you know that the American embassy in Iraq is a massive place? I didn't. Like, there are like 16k contractors and workers there. When I think 'embassy', I think of a building with 100 or so people in it. No, there's a small town of people there.

I did know that. Size of the embassy is irrelevant though (not accusing you of saying otherwise). Americans were threatened and attacked on US soil, which is something liberals cant wrap their brains around. That alone earned a response from our military. Throw in the fact something bigger was being planned, and an attack by us was mandatory. Benghazi should have never happened and should never be allowed to happen again.

100% this. I used to defend democrats somewhat years ago. I spent a good deal of time defending Obama his first term because he just got in office and you can’t be that upset with someone who hasn’t done anything yet.

What liberals have become is unhinged lunatics (credit to Cosby) who hate Trump so much, they’d rather the country fail while he’s in office just to spite him. I’ve never seen a group so desperate to lay blame on their own country (for retaliation of an attack which somehow doesn’t count) just so they can say Trump bad. Absolutely insane.

This is what gets me with the Dim political party. It has been hijacked by loonies and they are multiplying like rats on the streets of San Francisco. Like many people my age I was raised a Democrat. We were proud of Thomas Jefferson and Andy Jackson who helped form the party. It became the party of working people who were true patriots. Then in the 1960's all of that started to change and it has evolved into something many of us do not recognize. Their causes and platforms lead to total destruction of a civil society. All one has to do is look at the major cities and states controlled by Democrats. In 1980 I left them never to return.

I have no doubt that at some point in the future psychologists will determine that what we call Trump derangement syndrome is indeed some type of actual mental disorder. I had to spend a week at my in laws who are all liberal. I made a point to never bring up anything political. They on the other hand, couldn't go longer than 2 hours without mentioning Trump. It's actually kind of creepy.
