How this total f*****g moron has ANY support is amazing.

If we just take Bills 100 billion every problem will be fixed. Its so stupid its hard to fathom the stupidity it took to make this argument.

Generic evil billionaire sounds way more reasonable than targeting a guy. In this example a guy who never had a job thinks he can spend more wisely than a guy who created a product almost everyone in the world has used and donates billions to charity. Lunatic.

I didn't know. But that's helpful to the Bevin efforts. No idea if fraud occurred to an extent it made a difference. But it absolutely occurs and Dems will do anything

Is there another source for this or is it just the one random dude? Logic would tell me if there were shenanigans going on, the dems would have performed better in the down ticket races instead of getting boat raced. I think this one is purely on Bevin.

I'm not sure. I agree which is why I said I don't think it made a difference. But if you're building a case, like Bevin is,things like this help.

Lol. If you only knew. My wife was a professional model. Been in adverts for the biggest companies, including commercials, and mag front covers. And was in a movie (not porn). Austin can verify.

Your wife watches your drunken dog eat peanut butter out of your ass. By the way, you sot. What's it like to have a BAC higher than .02 in your butt hole?
Now dammit Gassy. You’ve been around here for years. You know damn good and well the rules. You can’t toss out info like that without photographic evidence.

Someone is definitely lying.

Until something other than second/third/fourth hand hearsay is provided to back up their accusations, Vindman and Hill are it.

That's make 3 out of 8 witnesses who have potentially perjured themselves so far. Almost batting .500.

Kash Patel, a senior National Security Council official accused of running a secret backchannel to President Trump on Ukraine matters, has categorically denied ever discussing Ukraine with the president.

What he's saying: "A number of media outlets have falsely reported that, as senior director for counterterrorism on the National Security Council, I have communicated with President Trump regarding Ukraine," Patel told Axios on Friday night. "At no time have I ever communicated with the president on any matters involving Ukraine.

  • "Any reporting to the contrary, and any testimony provided to Congress, is simply false, and any current or former staff who suggest I have raised or discussed Ukraine matters with President Trump, are similarly misinformed or spreading outright falsehoods."
Why it matters: Trump's former top Russia adviser, Fiona Hill, told impeachment investigators that she heard Trump thought Patel was his Ukraine director and that Patel was slipping Ukraine-related "materials" to the president outside of the normal NSC channels. Patel has never been assigned to Ukraine on the NSC.

Between the lines: Hill said that when she heard from another NSC staffer about Patel's supposed involvement on Ukraine, she considered it to be so "strange" and alarming that she reported it to her superior.

  • Hill said, however, that she never found out what actually went on with Patel and that her superior, Charles Kupperman, never got back to her after telling her he'd look into the matter.
  • Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, an NSC official who testified before impeachment investigators, also mentioned Patel in his testimony.
  • Vindman testified that Hill told him that Patel was misrepresenting himself as an Ukraine expert and the president had come to believe Patel was in charge of Ukraine policy on the NSC.
In a statement Friday night, Patel categorically denied all of these allegations from his current and former colleagues.

  • "I pride myself on my record as a dedicated national security professional who is entrusted to handle our nation's most sensitive matters," he said. "At no time have I strayed from my mission to protect the homeland in service to President Trump and the National Security Council."
Until someone. Anyone. On the left is held accountable for anything they’ve said or done that’s been proven false or illegal, then they will continue to lie and commit perjury and coach these “witnesses” to do just that. They know they can say and do whatever they want with impunity and will never be held accountable.

I’d post a picture of Gassy’s wife, but the only ones I have are of the top of her head.

Don't give a shjit either way. The fact that NONE of us knew about this is my point.

Well, I DO GAS, but that wasn't the point...

If the govt wants to take your money, it's just gone.
Actually, I don't think a wealth tax is constitutional per the 5th Amendment takings clause. Not to say some Lib Supreme Court wouldn't come up with an interpretation that would allow it.

"The Fifth Amendment of the United States Constitution includes a provision known as the Takings Clause, which states that "private property [shall not] be taken for public use, without just compensation." While the Fifth Amendment by itself only applies to actions by the federal government, the Fourteenth Amendment extends the Takings Clause to actions by state and local government as well.

When the government wishes to acquire property, for example, to build a new courthouse, it first attempts to buy the property on the open market. However, if the owner refuses to sell, the government can go to court and exercise the power of eminent domain, by having the court condemn the property in favor of the government. The Takings Clause imposes two requirements on government in order to exercise this power. First, the property to be acquired must be "for public use," and second, the government must pay "just compensation" to the owner of the property that is taken. The Supreme Court has long construed the term "public use" to include not only cases in which the public can arguably use the property, for example, as a public road, but also cases in which the property is not literally used by the public but the use of the property will serve a public purpose, such as redevelopment of a blighted area."

1. Wealth in all forms is private property.
2. If tax is say 2%, what could government do besides give you that 2%b back?

Agreed. Another solid job by the MSM burying a story.

I just googled it and it was reported by many of the KY media outlets in October when the judge ruled on it. Also showed up in national outlets (the Hill, Newsweek, Huffington, etc)

Somebody has to pay for all that R n D...per usual it looks like the world has no interest in paying for shit that America provides.

Across the board, not just with insulin, reduced rates via single-payer systems also lead to reduced access, delay in reaching patients, and the respective government on the hook for the payment squawking over how much it feels like shelling out for life-saving medicine.

I'm not against cheaper drugs or health, especially here in this country. But the only way that happens is if the world decides to pay more, or we go to some sort of universal system. The latter sounds great but the unintended consequences down the road would ultimately not be what everyone signed up for.

Less money, less R n D, less quality, less access, more government fighting some pharma company and or hospital while you're laying on the bed with the clock ticking...which happens enough as it is in this country with insurance companies squabbling, but competition and fear of losing business ultimately makes them move a little faster and more efficiently than a lot of other places around the globe.

Not that I really care, but if you had a clue, were the least bit informed, you'd realize that although not all, admittedly not even half, but a lot of the stuff I post isn't from a partisan source nor is the information contained therein partisan in nature. Some is even Democrat, leftwing, progressive, liberal, etc.

Seriously, if you're this ignorant about US politics, hate the political thread that much, feel basketball information is much more relevant and important, then why do you even frequent here?

This isn't the only thread on this site. No one is forcing you to be here. Matter of fact, you add absolutely nothing of substance to this thread. You constantly throwing a tantrum about Twitter won't be missed.

I post in other forums and threads frequently.

My contribution level to an Internet forum isn’t how I value my worth, so I’ll dismiss that one. I will say that I do more than just retweet shit. Original thoughts are good, you should try it sometime.

Talk about distraction and lack of knowledge. Insulin has been around for many years. When I helped build the new insulin manufacturing facility in Indianapolis over forty years ago, the CEO didn't like to look at an electrical substation from his skyscraper office and whimsically spent $15 M to move it. The city gave Lily a street which Lily promptly dug up and pour 8" of concrete, then laid 4" of asphalt for a bed of cobblestone to improve the aesthetics their employees would walk on! At the same time BCBS insurance bought a 35 story building downtown that had been total remodeled less than 7 year earlier. The first thing they did was demolish the first 7 floors to interior to install an artificial waterfall. I worked on those projects so take you lame R&D explanation somewheres else and imagine how much money paid with premiums got diverted away from producing insulin for this plethora of high dollar expenses that did nothing for healthcare.

When you post original thoughts I generally appreciate them and I think they add value to the thread. But you get on tangents where that's no where to be found from you, and all you do is troll what others are posting. That's what you've been doing lately and that's when people get annoyed with you. You try too hard to be different from the norm on here and when you do, you just come across as a douche.

Lol. That's what you're going with? Really? "Me drinkz, golf holez, watch da sportz, hatez the twitterz." Such depth and originality. Whatever makes you feel better, I guess.

Regardless, I'm never going to stop posting what I want, whenever I want, and as many times as I want. I told you the other day, if you have some kind of personal animosity towards me, then let's hear it. Let's air that shit out.

If not, then you have other options. You are free to ignore/scroll past my posts, put me on ignore and be done with it, or just altogether piss off and stop complaining about my posting habits.

I don't sit around and complain about your dumbass, irrelevant, know nothing posts. You know? Like, I couldn't care less about you golfing or drinking or watching sports or trying to be a smart-ass cool guy. I just think to myself "What a cringey douchebag." and keep scrolling. It's that easy.

Just like no one is forcing you to frequent this thread, no one is forcing you to read my posts and constantly bitch and moan about them. If it bothers you that much, do something about it. Whatever. Just give it a rest already and stop sweating me.
