It's no longer enough to be pro legal immigration, you now have to support open borders. It's no longer enough to be in favor of social programs for people who are here legally and truly in need of help, you have to support free housing, healthcare, and food for anyone who comes here.
Meanwhile, most conservatives have moved closer to the center over the years, but that's not good enough. They gave liberals an inch and now they want a mile. The democratic party as we once knew it no longer exists.

Has anyone watched Colin Quinn’s Red State Blue State special on Netflix? I was skeptical at first but downloaded it for my plane trip to Vegas this week. I got even more skeptical when I saw CNN was behind it. But I watched anyway. Well 75% of it since the plane landed, but anyway, it’s surprisingly good and he hits both sides for their hypocrisy pretty good as well. He does take some digs at Trump obviously. But not in the way you’d expect. He actually does a pretty spot on impression of Trump. I think the special really hits where many of us are politically. I think John might especially like it if he hasn’t seen it already.
