You can see it that way if you want. His post was talking about hypocrisy due to a 7 year old tweet by a citizen, a citizen who was in no way beholden to the American people. Nice try, but since your head is already up there, check your colon for polyps.
Hey, I get a kick out of the mental gymnastics that Trump’s supporters will undertake to avoid admitting he’s not infallible. He gets more respect from his peeps than Jesus does.

You're mixing two different types of people here. You do have your Trump acolytes who thinks he does no wrong. But then you have people like me who realize he's very flawed but is still a better choice than what else is being offered. I don't think because Obama did something bad that it's ok if Trump does it. But if you never spoke out about his flaws when he was president, you're a hypocrite to call out Trump. Most people on here will tell you Trump isn't a Saint, and almost all of us wish he would stop saying stupid crap. We admit that every day almost. None of the libs on here ever said anything negative about Obama so that's why we basically don't give a sh*t what they think.
No John, the tweet was made 7 years ago. You have no more information about the meeting and who requested it than anyone else does. How do you type with your head in that position?
I think Obama won 2 elections because he’s black. Period. And he did a pretty poor job while in office.

The tweet may have been dumb, false or warranted criticism at the time.
But not wanting an anti-American who is “slashing the military” to meet with the Taliban, but being willing to meet with the Taliban yourself, is in no way hypocritical.
I wouldn’t want Platinum to do my tax return (if I wanted it done correctly) but I’m not a hypocrite to then be willing to do it myself.
A simple “yeah, Trump isn’t perfect” would suffice here, but you’ll go to your grave thinking he is.
For the record I’ve said that as presidents go, he’s been pretty darn solid. It’s a thankless job and half the people will always be pissed about something.
He slashed the military to the point where we only outspent the next 80 countries combined? What a bastard.
We could cut 60% of the military budget tomorrow and none of us would notice without being told.

I JUST posted yesterday or the day before that I wish it was someone besides Donald in the office. Caveat was, this person would have the same balls to fight back against the commies trying to take over.
I have made fun of Donald since he's been a public figure and I never watched a single minute of his tv show.
My favorite Trump story was when he sold a casino to Merv Griffin. Trump was laughing that he bought the casino for 200 million and did some work to it and then unloaded it to Griffin for $500 million. Griffin heard about it and said "Donald borrowed money just like he always does, I wrote a personal check for $500 million. Who's laughing".
Bahahahaah.

My father passed in July so I guess I can admit now that he too was a democrat. I suppose I was too when I was young, very young. We would argue about politics every now and then when he was feeling froggy and would say something to get a reaction out of me.
One day we were riding along and I asked him if he was in favor of abortion. He said no.
I asked him if he thought only the police should have guns. He said no.
I asked him if he thought people should be able to just walk across our borders and get all the benefits. He said no.

A couple of weeks before he died he told me that he had been thinking about it and even though he didn't like Donald, he would probably vote for him in 2020. I told him that I knew he would, just like he voted for him last election. He said he didn't vote for Donald. I asked him who filled out his ballot for him? He just laughed.

Have any dems ever wondered why it took trump to be president for journalists to discover things that were going on under Obama...like locking kids in cages. Where were all these "hard working truth tellers" ? I'd assume spying on journalists was a threat to the the free press...but it was totally cool when the God King was in office.
