I don't believe in anyone's god, not even the popular one, but I love me some Christmas! My wife can't understand why I watch the cartoons and sing Christmas tunes. She doesn't understand why I insist on having a tricked out tree and going to see Nutcracker at the theater.

It's hard to explain but I guess it's because I still remember what a special time it was for me as a child. It pisses me off that someone showed me a picture yesterday of a store they were just in that had Christmas decorations up already. I do not want Christmas bastardized any more than it is already by consumerism.

Less is more sometimes.

Amazing... yeah I'm surprised, this not-so-subtle communist propaganda...

I tell ya man.... Bernie or Warren socialists beat Trump and it's only a matter of time before this country becomes like a Mad Max or Book of ELi movie.

gonna be a hell of a ride indeed.
I don't think any of them beat Trump BUT one day sadly we will elect someone in that mold to the Presidency. Too many brain washed idiots like ed and plat out there for it not to happen. This country will go through hell when it happens too.

Yeah, rather go to see the Nutcracker at the theater instead of see one in my house. As soon as my wife gets that way it's time to hit the road.:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Poor you! I put an end to my wife busting my balls years ago. Told her I wasn't going to put up with it anymore. Now she keeps them safe in an old eyeglass case in the bottom of her purse where they're safe from harm.

Frank Bruni of the New York Times:

"He had commandeered too many of my thoughts, run roughshod over too many of my emotions, made me question too many articles of my faith. I was sapped--if not quite of the will to live, then of the will to tweet, to Google and surf the cable news channels, where his furious mien and curious mane are ubiquitous. What I was feeling was beyond Trump fatigue and bigger than Trump exhaustion. It was Trump enervation. Trump enfeeblement."

Trump needs to frame that quote, sign it, and send it to Frank with a smiling picture and a thumbs up.

Luckily they like to travel in groups so they can feel the safety of numbers.
For now. They only attack in a few states. Let them venture out somewhere where the law will allow those who can fight back kick their ass or just shoot a couple in the head. I am for that by the way, mainly those who attack with sticks/batons/concrete milkshakes. Even more so for the one who are now attacking children. Shoot them or hang em.

I forgot about Starbucks. Mine started with them after someone gave me a gift card and I got a black coffee there. It was turrabul. I gave the rest of the card to someone who was on their way in when I was leaving. Fool me once...

I don’t go to Starbucks either, but that’s because I’m not interested in paying $5 for a mediocre coffee when I can get one at McDonalds for 99 cents.

Fair point on sonic. Their cherry limeade is boss though.

I talked once to a person who claimed to have worked at one and she said that they burn their coffee to give it a stronger taste so it can hold up to all the extra stuff people put in there.

Good article but I disagree with this paragraph...

Donald Trump has taken a lot of criticism for his pointed attacks on the media and having gone so far as to call them the enemy of the people.” That kind of egregious attack doesn’t help, as we desperately need a functioning media to provide us with accurate information – democracy can’t function without it.

If we HAD a functioning media that provided us with accurate information, he wouldn't have a reason to attack them. Trump, above anyone else, would welcome a press that told the truth. Funny thing is, if we had that type of press then we probably wouldn't have needed Donald.
