As I stated in another post, I'm confident stats will back up most mass shooters having mental health issues...

As for the motivations of Radical Muslims. That discussion has been exhausted.

They do not like the west, they are extremely religious, are not shy about it, nor do they mince words.

- cops and the mayor reported 3 suspects
- something happened at the mall

I hate the stupid blame game that goes on after shootings, it's so freaking pointless.

You have people from both sides causing divide, you have everyone in the media going ape shit after every shooting. Which guess what, makes it more appealing for the next person to do it as well.

But here's the crazy thing about all of this, America is actually safer than it has ever been. But we as people love drama and tragedy is the best real life drama. Then you add in social media, it makes it seem like the world is falling apart.

There are less kids getting shot at schools now, than in the 90s. But either than Columbine, you never heard about it and I never worried about it while in school. But now you have people all over acting like it's just a matter of time before their kids gets shot.

The media (both the right and the left) love violence and they both can't wait till they have a story to pin on the other side. Like the movie Nightcrawler says, "If it bleeds, it leads."

But overall I think it shows what a very sad state we are in, when you hear about something like this that there are so many people on both sides basically almost rooting for it to be someone from the other side so they can go all out on the blame game.

Saw that the FBI is taking over the investigation. The same FBI that refuses to tell us why a Vegas concert was shot up with 60 people killed. You can bet not much more information if any will come out now.

This was a massive shooting, lasted 30 minutes over a large area. 100 cops were on scene in 6 minutes. Shooter was caught driving away.

This investigation will take a long time. My assumption is it will not be covered by media.

Generally agree, but elements of politics do cause chaos. It's tough to have a positive view of the world if you think actual Hitler is the president nominating judges who are rapists or on the other side they want to steal your guns and money while giving tax money to the world's poor. Add in bullies, adhd, long commutes to boring jobs, vets returning from pointless wars, over crowded cities, general ****ery all around, and some shit is going to go down. It would be nice if we didn't stir the pot at every opportunity.
