Are you going to act like you haven't read the past few pages, fuzz?

This sums up the majority of the left when it comes to ideology being challenged.

fingers+in+your+ears.jpg

That's why they enjoy the big circle jerk of like-minded people and surround themselves in a bubble where they only get the echo effect and never get challenged.

Notice it isn't conservatives who always try to silence opposing thought; it's the left.

It's going to come down to the Hispanic vote. It'll be interesting to see what happens in states like Texas and Arizona. Trump doesn't have Hispanic support in California, but he might fare better in places with more problems with border security.

If they turn out in big numbers for Clinton, she wins easily. If trump can somehow get Hispanic voters to back him, he will be the next president.

If you compare Bernie's visit to Paducah yesterday to Hillary's visit this morning, Bernie will win Kentucky.

Hillary better start addressing the optics of this (and not Trump), and the fact she can't put Bernie away.

haven't seen the slightest poll but I'd expect Bernie to win Kentucky by 20+ points. not anything about him but the entire state from all sides of the spectrum expressing their disgust with Hillary & the idea of what would basically be a 3rd Obama term.

Super delegates weren't created to just reinforce the popular vote. The next 9 contests will set the stage for the democratic convention. If Bernie wins 8 of 9, including California, things could get interesting. Especially if Hillary's polling numbers for the general continue to dip.

[laughing]

Laugh all you want but it's a possibility that's being talked about. Doesn't necessarily mean Bernie would be the beneficiary either. If the dems think they will lose the general with Hillary they will go another direction.
The vast majority of those super delegates are not flipping from Hillary to Bernie. They talk about it all the time; it's not some secret.

Mexico's ruling class doesn't determine labor rates paid by American companies in Mexico. When I worked in Mexico and needed to hire a position I had two wage scales...one if they were a US citizen and another if they were Mexican. It was one of the major reasons I left the job. It was completely up to me who I could hire...a US citizen at $60K or an equally qualified Mexican at $25K.
Yes, Mexico's ruling class is no different that the US ruling class.

Fuzz, do you not see the big picture?
Why do you think US companies are moving to Mexico? It's not to pay them the same wages as US workers, if that were the case they wouldn't be moving factories there.

Why do you think Mexico doesn't have a middle class? Look at the shrinking of the US middle class, and at the same time the increase in ultra rich. There's a correlation there.

None of them...as in zero?
How about very small percentage?

Regardless, without someone giving them those jobs the big majority of them aren't coming and/or aren't staying here. It is just as illegal to hire them as it is for them to be here. Until you stem the demand, the supply will continue.
I guarantee you that the ones coming for the handout is larger than you know or would admit.

Don't forget to factor in dead people and pets voting for Hillary.

Agreed. Alison L Grimes was here stumping with Hillary BTW. Bernie's rallies seem much more grass roots in nature.

Hillary in Hoptown today, supposedly Bernie had dinner there last night but I've not heard/read about any Berniethons

I've heard several of them on the radio out here in Washington. Many (most?) super delegates are either elected officials or the very highest offices in state parties.

Those people have watched Hillary raise money for them, campaign for them, etc. Bernie, on the other hand, wasn't even a Democrat until he decided to run for POTUS.

You're exactly right. I've had 2 people come by in the last week stumping for Bernie. 2 girls came by yesterday evening straight from Bernies stop here in Paducah.

You kinda admire the fact that Bernie is an honest socialist. You also kinda admire the enthusiasm of his followers.

However, it's scary that they all believe this stuff. That you can essentially pool everybody's money, and the let government dole it back out as they see fit, and it will all work out.

Again, it's a paper tiger IMO. Sounds good, won't work out in the long run, and squashes the individual.

Hillary has no soul IMO.

Yeah, my feelings about Bernie are very similar to my feelings about Ron Paul: both of them have sincere beliefs borne out of patriotic and humanist intentions...but they're both quite naive about the way the world works.

It's difficult to hate either of them, but it's quite easy to vote against them.

Not any more scary than whatever the shit people believed in that led us to where we are now.

Take each and every decade. Look at the stupid shit they did/created. Shake your head. Repeat. It's daggum stupid. All of if, and it was all done so idiots would vote.

Those are the positive reasons for people in that group to support her - the cynical, negative side is just as compelling. Meaning, the Clinton Machine is certainly capable and pervasive enough to make retribution very real and painful for those it deems insufficiently loyal. Kind of like the Politburo that way.

There is nothing here about which we really disagree.
The only exception I would take is the fact that Mexico has never really had much in the way of a middle class. It does exist however and in fact it is slowly growing because of the industries we have shipped down there. We are there for the cheap labor but all businesses still require management. The plant where I worked about half of the white collar jobs were held by college educated Mexicans...they were just paid about half of what our US workers were paid. Having visited several of their homes, they lived pretty comparable to their US counterparts. The differences were that their nice home would be an oasis sometimes in the middle of squalor.

Mexico is what the US is heading towards. A class of ultra rich, an extremely small middle class, and a large poor population.
Bill, I am so proud of you. I, literally, have been preaching this into the wind for the last decade word for word. People take things for granted when they should realize your country can be taken away from you by the rich. Mexico is a very rich country. They have more billionaires than the rest of Central and South America combined. They have a bounty of natural resources and the hardest working labor force in the world. But the rich have a stranglehold on that country and so things never change. Ultra rich, no middle class, huge poverty class.

That is exactly where we are heading. The rich along with greedy corporate interests have a stranglehold on our country and they use foolish pointless issues to keep us at each other's throats while they loot the Treasury without a conscience. They have successfully demonized Government regulations that could keep them in check and/or hold them accountable. They have essentially legalized theft on Wall Street. Simultaneously you have lost all your consumer protections. New drugs are routinely put on the market that are riddled with side effects because the profit is there even with the inevitable lawsuits that follow.

Economics have become obscene. Yet the propaganda has been so effective you actually have Bible thumpers supporting a rich ruling class while demonizing the poor. Everything is turned on its head due to carefully applied hot button issues designed to steer 50% of the population against the other 50% so that 1% can exploit and plunder unchecked.

I'm pissed because I am an independent so I can't go out and vote against Hillary tomorrow. I always hate when I can't take my puny stand against the neocon globalists at the voting booth. I would have voted for Bernie.

Z, I've been saying the same things for a long time on here too. Not so much about the rich as it was about the jobs being outsourced.
In my mind NAFTA may be the worst piece of legislation passed in my lifetime, maybe even longer.
It's lead to hopelessness for millions of Americans. Hardworking, prideful people that lost a job that supported their families. Now they depend on the Govt to survive, it burns my ass every time I think how we were sold out.

It's no coincidence that the rise in drug use ballooned during this same timeframe.
Employers also provided insurance, without that we now have obamacare.

None of this shit is going to change until we demand it. I'm sick of of the bullshit diversions that come up every election cycle, abortion, gay marriage, guns, global warming, war on women now we are supposed to mad about GD transgendered bathroom rights, I'm f*cking sick of it!
We're giving our great nation away to make a few jackasses in Washington and New York filthy rich, to hell with them. We've got people who no longer see it as a disgrace to be on govt handouts, they grew up that way, and so did most of their friends.
Something HAS to change, the path we're on doesn't end well I'm afraid.

If you're a man, and think you're a woman, you have serious mental issues. You're not a protected class, like gays, or blacks or women, etc. You're just mentally disturbed. It's pretty simple.

pretty much in the you are what you are camp.......a trans female may claim to be a woman but he's biologically a man

Well if we are going to piss people off no matter what Inwas we set up camps and offer legal citizenship that come apply.

And as soon as they come into camp we capture them and ship them home!

I get the impression some believe the US should open its doors and take everyone else's unproductive people. I disagree, in fact I'd favor sending our non-productives to some of their countries. How about a trade: Hard working Jose for a meth addict?
