Illegal immigration requires a multifaceted approach. Need law changes, walls, more personnel, pressure on origin countries, and more.
Exactly, I wish some of these lefties on here would tell me why politicians and stars live in gated communities with walls or high fences and have security around them all of the time if that does not work..

Good. I think she has done a pretty horrible job at it. I rarely rarely listen to Lou Dobbs. But caught one segment from him last week (first time in years I have heard him talk) and he tore her apart and I thought everything he said was dead on.

Can you quote everything he said and why you agree with each one of his points?

I’ve got no dog in the fight, just curious about what specific items you agree 100% with Lou Dobbs on and why.

They always use the strawman "walls won't stop all illegals".

Noone said they would. But it will stop quite a few. And that's a damned good start at this point

Your previous post is dead on. Any of the things you mentioned by themselves won’t be of much use, but combined they should do a decent job of addressing the problem.

I can't remember everything exactly he said (again it was about a week to 2 weeks ago and I just caught about 3-4 minutes of him talking about her). But it was really just along the lines of a laundry list of her being all talk and 0 action. I believe he said something along the lines of John Kelly spent twice as much time down at the border in his short few month stint as DHS than Nielsen has spent down there all together. How it took her 6 weeks after Trump declared it an emergency to do anything at all.

Its not really policy things, from that and from her time on Tucker. Don't get me wrong I don't think its all on her. She has to deal with congress and also dealing with all the different things Trump says. But It really sounds like she just isn't good at her job and wasn't doing much in the position.

And you know what bro? Most conservatives don’t have any issues with anyone who wants to come here and earn a living in our capitalist country. But there’s a right way and a wrong way to go about it. If someone or even a family wants to come here LEGALLY. EMPHASIS ON LEGALLY!! Then more power to them and we will welcome them with open arms.

We need to take a serious look at our immigration policies.

Holy schnikes! I feel like the veil of darkness has been lifted! I am proud of you, bro. We can still be charitable to those in need, but we have every right to limit the number of unauthorized unskilled laborers we allow to freely enter the country.

Right. And as a country, we should spend more on vocational schools, community colleges, and HS pathway programs. Education in general.

I’m pretty sure we spend more than any country on education per capita. With a population as big as ours that’s saying something.

The problem is broken families and a broken culture. It’s obvious to any honest person.

Im not religious but Im going to take a wild shot in the dark. Maybe it is easier for religious people to get behind Trump, vs an openly gay man that supports 9 month abortion.

Ive said this all along, I think a lot of religious people are able to vote for Trump because they get they don't look at their president to be their morale compass, they have their religion and family for that.

What law has Trump passed is a flat out slap to the face of the religious people in America? I can't think of one. The mayor wants to make 9 month abortion legal in the country. That is a bigger slap to the face of the religious people than anything Trump has done.

I think there is a big difference in forgiving someone for their own misdeeds. Vs passing law that affects the entire country.

Trump is no doubt, not a moral authority.

However, compared to the growingly worse alternatives, he is looking better every day.

If you’re a liberal, ask yourself how that’s possible.

One thing at a time John and a wall will slow them down until we actually enforce the laws on the books starting with sanctuary cities. Breaking the law is breaking the law.

Something we can agree on. Use the money to actually educate teachers on how to teach and not brainwash kids with the institutional garbage we have been for years now. Plus, drug test them constantly.

So we should be following the cultural example of all the countries who lap us in education then?

Sounds like we need to quit teaching liberal education then. Maybe actually teach real facts instead.

The biggest difference between the US and other developed countries is that there are way more poor people here. America’s best are just as good as Canada’s best or Japan’s best or Denmark’s best - there just happen to be more low performers here that drag down the averages.

Trump is about the most immoral person out there. He couldn't give two sh!ts about moral issues. He pretty much is a despicable human being when it comes to any morals. With that being said, I will give him credit in that he says the right things to get the religious folks' vote. Does he give a shit about those things? No, but he will get their votes
