The media wants to harpoon Trump at all costs. Look for the Libertarian Party to get a lot more air time and talked about a bunch more as they conspire to draw votes away from Trump.
If this much of the establishment hates a guy then you know he has to be onto something. This all reminds me of the way they sunk Ross Perot and Ron Paul when history has clearly and absolutely proven both of them were absolutely correct. Pat Buchanan, too, for that matter.
Anyone that stands up to globalism is going to get crushed. From both parties. And that is what is unfolding now as the globalists seek to shut down one last gasp of American sovereignty.
Globalism is inevitable. We are being consumed. I just want there to be a fight. A reckoning.

I figure Trump is our last chance at making a stand. It doesn't matter that Trump is Trump... we're going to eventually lose anyway. Trump is just the line in the sand. The point at which the American people decided they've had enough. So here I stand with the rabble. Doomed. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I haven't said a word about my own political stances or views, only what I am hearing around me.
I do think illegal immigration needs to be addressed, but i disagree with trumps plan. What is building a wall going to do? Other than make middle America feel good that something is being done while billions of dollars are wasted building and maintaining it? The cartels smuggle people over and they are good at everything. All they'll do is figure our how to smuggle people on shipping crates or on planes, if they haven't already.
Paul Ryan just said he's not ready to support Trump at this time and Trump responded that he is not prepared to support Paul Ryan's agenda. That is fairly well an amazing exchange in an astounding political season.
Hillary's message is so pathetic right now. Whatever hack that put the "Trump is too risky" words in her mouth should be fired as that is so lame. What happened to all the great political operatives? Does she really think a guy sitting there without a job because his factory closed down and moved to Mexico gives on flip about her stupid friggen message?
She had better get on message and that message had better address trade and jobs in the rust belt instead of threatening to put coal miners out of work in Appalachia. Her message is so utterly stupid that it is no wonder she can't beat a Socialist and a TV Reality Star.
I, here on the Paddock, could put together a better message for her in 15 minutes than anything she's said this entire political campaign. I may not be able to rise to the level of saying Cruz's dad killed JFK as frankly nobody can as that insult will live forever and be whispered and laughed roundly at off-camera for the rest of history... but I could do a helluva lot better than whoever is putting words in Hillary's mouth right now.

I'm not so sure the media is against Trump anymore. I think their tune is still against the republicans and they clearly aren't supporting their candidate. CNN basically has called out everyone that is a republican since Ryan said he wouldn't endorse Trump......yet, lol.

I think the media is more partisan than ever before. HOWEVER, they also are about self preservation. And for 12 months Trump coverage = ratings.

The spread of islam and illegal immigration are very real issues do inspire very real and justified fear in the minds of people that want to protect our culture and our country. Name one country with a predominantly muslim population that has a culture like the traditional American culture. Trump may have zero tact, but he is the first candidate since Reagan that has had the balls to call it as it is. What will be ironic is they gripe about how the boomers have bankrupted the country with their unearned retirement plans, social security, etc...yet, if they have their way, they will be old just about the time their kids ...who grew up obtaining their guidance from peers via their I-phones, facebook, etc... are the voting majority and decide to eliminate programs that support the elderly.

Jobs are the number 1 issue, or lack there of, and Hillary or any other current career politician is not going to tackle the root cause. Because they are bought and paid for, and the people that own them like the status quo.
Jobs would cure a lot of societies ills, that government and social warriors can't.
I don't know if Trump can change things, but I believe he'll try. I KNOW Hillary won't, her husband is the one that got the ball rolling down hill.

Trump has flip flopped on every major position at least once. Yet somehow he's supposed to be this bastion of integrity.
Manufacturing is not coming back to the states. Sure we can improve those numbers a little but manufacturing as people like to remember from the 70s and 80's is history. If Chinese or Mexicans aren't taking your manufacturing jobs, automation is. If companies are 'forced' to manufacture in America they will just use automation to limit their labor costs.
Hell, Trump just went back on his big selling point of using his own money and will be taking PAC and donor money just like everybody else he likes to call dishonest. His words are just words to him.

Correct manufacturing will never be what it was but maybe more money is generated for companies that sent their factory work overseas for profits. Maybe Trump can create tax savings to bring overseas money back to America. Maybe Trump can find ways to charge countries in trade for our military support to balance such bad trade deficits. Maybe instead of slow down illegal immigration dependence he can minimize it while figure a way for those here to pay taxes and contribute somehow besides sendin money out of America.
See the manufacturing that saves American companies and allows stocks to sore in profits isn't bad, but the money having to be left overseas is. Our past politicians were bought by companies that knew damn well what they were doing but the politicians didn't have a clue!
