IMO, Obama believes in world socialism, if he could figure out how to do it (*cough global warming *cough).

This is why Trumps emphasis on borders, and nationalism is playing so well, like him or not.

Addendum: just saw that someone named Sally Kohn (??) says the only reason Trump supporters will vote for Donald is because he's a white guy.

It gets simpler all the time! heh.....

Seeing that the "world" is far more socialist than the US...and seeing that Trump favors universal healthcare...I mean *cough* everyone is covered healthcare*cough*...it looks to me that Trump = more socialism, not less.

Gave that Ted Cruz video some more thought while taking a break to get snacks. What about a sitcom for Ted Cruz where he is a born here (legal) Hispanic widower, Raphael Cruz, trying to raise a 10 year old daughter, Temperance, on his own, only he has the help of (the ghosts of) founding fathers Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay (Federalist Papers authors). Call it "My Fore Fathers." Ted subtlety equates himself with our founding fathers (probably does already in his mind), educates the youth of today on how the constitution works (dildos for none), and gets to push his moral values on his viewers by using angles you wouldn't expect - Hispanic man, single dad, maybe some jeans with the shirt untucked. And we get more camera Ted. Wins all around.

I wanna see Ted Cruz raped by a dildo (a dildo that makes an appearance in every episode)

Sounds like if Hiliary is elected she may consider Obama as a Supreme Court Judge.

[eyeroll][laughing]

Peggy Noonan's take on Trump was spot-on. That said, she is a nightmare of a woman. I cannot imagine the horrific life of whoever is unfortunate enough to be hitched to her Glenn Close nutty delusional ass.

In hell I will be tormented for all eternity by Peggy Noonan and Ann Coulter licking on my fingers and toes. Saying things as they gurgle and suckle loudly.

Donald Trump is going to be the next President. Get used to it. The midwest decides this election and Trump is going to strangle Hillary Clinton on Nafta. It really is that simple. This one is over if Trump can just get through the summer and fall without doing something incredibly stupid.

All the people that are rioting and hating on Trump were not going to vote Republican anyway. Trump is winning Reagan Democrats by a landslide in the midwest, he is going to draw in a ton of Bernie Sanders supporters in away from Hillary. He will win at least 3 of the following: Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, & Florida and he may well sweep them.

Yes. I am voting for Trump. He's more liberal than Hillary is. Hillary is a neocon.

BTW, I also supported Pat Buchanan so it's not like this is a first for me. There is a place where liberalism intersects with libertarianism and also, as Noonan observed, I want a candidate that is NOT a globalist.

American sovereignty is a precious thing that we are on the verge of losing by assimilation. It is probably too late to stop the inevitable plunge of our standard of living but I intend to fight it even though I recognize it is ultimately a losing proposition. As a country, we have been done for some time now. I'm basically deciding who I want to circle the drain with.

Trump I don't think is liberal. Not at all.

I think this country needs to quit looking at social problems by left and right?

Then it come downs to a fiscal decision. Trump passes MLEXB in that department

I said "more liberal" than Hillary. And he is. At heart he wants to do well for this country. To what effect remains to be seen but I believe that will be the basis for the decisions he makes and it will be nice to have a President making decisions on what is best for America rather than what is best for a New World Order or a Thousand Points of Light.

Wait. So you think the RNC is running a secretive Democratic candidate against another Democratic candidate?

The RNC had no choice otherwise their candidate certainly would not have been Trump. Trump defies traditional party lines. He is truly an amalgam of the entire political spectrum. He denies climate change, for instance, but that will be out of his hands and is thus of no concern to me.

In voting for Trump I feel like I will be saying "SEE, YOU BASTARDS, I KNOW YOU SCREWED US OVER SO HERE COMES MY THANK YOU NOTE."

Or something like that.

That's the real reason. It's a personal vendetta.

At this point I will prolly take Trump over Johnson. I could not take a Cruz or Rubio running over Johnson. But I think I can do a Trump presidency. If anything. Trump may pull more towards Libertarian than Democrat.

This guy is probably in the 80th percentile for intelligence of Trump voters. It's embarrassing, both that Cruz is doing this and that this guy just repeats catch phrases

LYIN TED WHY U LYIN TED WHY U ALWAYS LYING OOOOOO OMG WHY THE F**K YOU LYIN!! SAD!

I could barely watch it all it was so cringe worthy

Goddamn, I just spent a week in DC. Guess what, up until WW2 and some Kennedy shit, no one wants to talk about the "current state of affairs". Everybody in DC living in nostalgia

Man, what else am I gonna do, Transy?

Wish Amash would run in 4 to 8 years
Well, I'm more than likely not voting. Again. I usually take the Carlin approach when it comes to these things. I just don't see Trump as significantly better than Hillary. They are awful at different things, but on the whole they are both hot dirty baby diaper garbage fires. There is no "lesser evil" in this election.

Yeah, you're right. I know. I'll admit it. I'm rationalizing. The only reason I'd vote for Trump is because of his ego. I know. If I were Trump, and had the chance, I'd try to go out beloved by America.

I know I am rationalizing

There is a lesser evil though. It's Trump. I doubt Trump appoints two super leftists to the Supreme Court.

I'm sorry but Trump is at least proposing ideas to stop illegal immigration. If we did nothing else but helped stop that BS then his presidency would be a success.

We are a hollowed out country. We don't have the underpinnings to support our greatness as a nation any longer. Like termite infected wood. America looks solid but will crumble at the slightest touch. As a result we are retreating into cultural and religious enclaves as we are preparing to do battle for what is left. This is how countries rip apart in violent revolution. Massive civil unrest globally is in the offing as there simply is too much economic disparity. Like weather systems, highs and lows, they will come together violently and we are not immune.

Heisman, this why a 3rd party mind is confused. I want Hillary beat. But I will not vote for a Cruz or rubio, but I could see a Trump vote. This is will be a deciding day vote for me. I feel that I don't vote Johnson that I am wasting my vote. If I vote for Trump, I feel like I am getting some smoothing shit talker

I just wonder if anyone here on election day will admit to who they voted for.

Doubtful. I said it months ago - there are tons of closet Trump supporters. When Trump's momentum first started to pick up, he was winning elections left and right, but the numbers didnt add up. Thats because people wouldnt tell pollsters they supported Trump, yet theyd go out and support him at the polls.

I think we'll see alot of the same on election day. Will it be enough?

Mistyped that. I obviously meant Trump is the lesser of two evils. The consequences of a Trump presidency are far less than a Hillary presidency.

This place isn't coming back from a Hillary presidency.

I'll vote Trump. But don't make no mistakes here we may not come back from a Trump presidency either.

Like the poster said before we are choosing who we go down the drain with.

It would literally take a civil war to shed a good enough chunk of the dead weight here. And I go back and forth on the Mexicans, because here in KY they are the hardest working civil group of foreigner we have and it isn't close . This country as a whole would need to go a lot farther down the drain before they would even be concerned with going back to Mexico and for the most part they are good for society.

I agree withTrump what we have allowed China to do to us is damn near rape. And I could careless if we just said screw you we ain't paying come and get your damn money.
