You do realize that most of the Middle East is in Asia, right?

Maybe you should do a Google search on "Countries in Asia."

Good luck.
I have to admit, I had to just do that..... I would have never thought of Turkey or Lebanon as part of Asia.

I guess I slept through Geography or have been out of school way to long. Probably a little of both.

If nothing else, I learned a little today.

You can't be serious right now. Look at the list you posted and tell everyone here that all those countries are Asian. I don't give a damn what google says, google says lots of things. I know the difference between a middle eastern country and an Asian country. By your list Iraq and Iran are Asian countries and we all know that's a load of crap.

I admitted my error, the least you could do would be admit yours. Then again, not everybody is man enough to admit when they are wrong.

It's probably because they aren't Asian countries. If you learned anything today it should be not to believe everything google tells you and to pay attention in class and maybe do a little traveling.

Ignore the will of the people at your own peril.

Not to mention it basically, validates the notion of seeing the GOP as the enemy. If Romney couldn't beat GD Obama after his horrendous first four years then why would anyone believe he has a chance now?

If the GOP pulls that, you'll never see another Republican win again and it's just giving Hillary the presidency without a doubt. Good luck getting a high turnout if you don't go with the candidate the people choose.
The GOP has already lost some people lately simply because they have been so weak and divided.

Real life Salon headline right now: "The Brussels attacks are a sobering reminder just how dangerous a GOP presidency would be".

You cant even make this stuff up.

"the will of the people"? He has the highest disapproval ratings (even within his own party) of any major candidate in history and didn't even break the 40% mark until it was down to a 3-man race. the narrative about him having some sort of mandate is a mystifying one, to say the least.

Other than maybe Georgia which of those countries aren't part of Asia?

If there were only a way to decide which candidate has the most support of voters....hmmmmm.

Ignore the will of the people at your own peril.
If he doesn't get the delegates or even reaches 50% within the party how is will of people being defined here?

The data on Trump not being able to win is overwhelming.

so a plurality now translates to "the will of the people"? many state constitutions (and the federal one) are written the way they are for a reason.

That right there is funny and you do not even realize it.
Edit to add.... I will take the Encyclopedia Britannica's definition of Asia over yours.... sorry if that makes me stupid and uneducated in your eyes.

I will admit that the last time I was in Ishmere (screwed up the spelling, but you get the point) it did not seem like Asia. But alas that was in 1995 so things might have changed.

If Trump has such little support then what does that say about the other candidates who couldn't overtake him? We're effed regardless now.

Every country I listed is officially located on the continent of Asia.

Was I supposed to be using some other sort of criteria that only you and Obama know about?

Willy, I usually screw up my formatting and stuff. But to be clear, I was saying that I did not know Turkey and Lebanon were part of Asia, that I learned something today.

My smart a$$ remark was to the other guy..... But to be fair, only in regards to geography. :)

If you want to see which candidate has the most voter support, just look at the election results. Is that the will of the people? I have no idea, because theres no way to know who non-voters support. So election results are still the best indication of support.

Of the countries listed the ones in bold would not be considered Asia to most people...or at least they weren't when I was picking orders.

Afghanistan
Armenia
Azerbaijan
Bahrain
Bangladesh
Bhutan
Brunei
Cambodia
Georgia
India
Indonesia
Iran
Iraq
Jordan
Kazakhstan
Kuwait
Kyrgyzstan
Laos
Lebanon
Malaysia
Myanmar
Oman
Pakisatan
Palestine
Phillipines
Qatar
Saudi Arabia
Singapore
Sri Lanka
Syria
Tajikistan
Thailand
Turkey
Turkmenistan
UAE
Uzbekistan
Vietnam
Yemen

Now if you guys want to play with semantics and say that's all Western Asia, fine with me. Call those countries anything other than the Middle East in certain groups and you'll get laughed at. There is the scholar definition and then there is the geographic definition.

No, common sense would have sufficed, but that seems to be lacking with some. So you can honestly say you refer to Iraq as Asia in normal conversation, or have you decided to man up and admit you are just being snarky and scholarly.

Maybe we can get lucky and a Benghazi style attack happens at a Hillary Clinton rally. I wonder how fast the government would act on that one. Oh and for you tolerant left, this is tongue in cheek.

People can't look past geography that was put in place hundreds of years ago? It's dumb to say, by definition and layout, that Afghanistan isn't on the Asian continent, it is... it's also dumb to think the Middle East is "asian".. it's not.

If you can't see the difference between Eastern and Western Asia... Forget the fact that they are the same landmass, only Earth Science nerd-bombs care about that.

I would seriously welcome a split in this country at this point. Let the folks with common sense have half the country and then let the ideologues have another side and let's see who succeeds.

I was mainly answering the point of "will of the people", there is not wide support that supports a demand for others to stand down within our process to pick candidates.
As for your question, $2b in free coverage (still laugh at FTS opining he was being treated poorly by Fox) and a widely split vote greatly helped him get to where he is now (mid to upper 40s). Anyone that has challenged him has gotten out-insulted since he has his own set of rules and his behavior does not bother those that support him....ie no win situation.

Damn I stand corrected again...the Middle East and Arab nations don't exist! I have seen the light thanks to the scholarly teachings of the Paddock! I thank you to those that have enlightened me.

No such thing as the Middle East...hell, why stop there, I mean Asia by definition stretches all the way to Portugal, right? Would that be Far Far West Asia? My whole world view has changed, and it's pretty refreshing. Thanks guys!

not that the data matters to people nowadays, but here goes:

3/21 CNN (moe +/- 3pts) Clinton +12 vs Trump, even vs Cruz, -6 vs Kasich
3/21 CBS (moe +/- 3pts) Clinton +10 vs Trump, +3 vs Cruz, -4 vs Kasich

"But Trump could put NY into play!"....Clinton leads by 19 points.
"But Trump could win FL!".....Clinton leads by 8 points.
"What about Ohio??"....Clinton leads by 6 points.

Furthermore, Trump puts deep red states into play:
Tied with Clinton in Arizona
Trails by 2pts in Utah

Trump performs worse in a general election both nationally and state-by-state against Clinton compared with both Cruz and Sanders.

Not only would he lose the general (possibly in a landslide that would make 2008 look like a nail biter), but he would absolutely hamstring the GOP in these important Senate races.

And some of you guys are actually buying his schtick. It's incredible.

Every single country you bolded is in Asia. This is not a subjective, opinion-based question here. Those countries are on the Asian continent.
