Trump's stand on not allowing people to die in the streets if he is President shows exactly why he will be a very formidable candidate in the general. If they don't take him out soon I think we could be at that beginning stage where a runaway juggernaut is born and he sweeps into the general with an overwhelming victory over Hillary.

Right now Trump is under siege with every candidate and moderator out to get him and he is in a knife fight. One on one I have no idea how a candidate can beat him in a general. He can be put in the most difficult situation imaginable, look terrible for a few minutes, then land a crushing KO punch and come out smelling like a rose. He is truly a formidable candidate to behold.

No advertising. No ground game. No PAC money. Just the force of his personality overwhelming all conventional political norms. Amazing to behold.

At this point Trump is taking on the GOP and Dem candidates all at the same time and still stream rolling. Many of us thought he was a joke when he announced, but hes a joke no more.

Got to love CNN and their bogus fact checking. No doubt republicans lied about US being the highest taxed country. I mean individually they use per capita to discredit the claim and corporate wise the use tax rate that lowers after credits etc to make it sound good.

Oh and Obamacare isn't a job killer FYI

I mean all you can do.......[laughing]

It's the party's platform. Read it some time. They used God 12 times in 2012. Lefties made zero mention.

McCain wasn't super Bible guy but that silly coont who ran with him was. The GOP is the religious party. They branded themselves that way in the 80s. Joe Don't Give A Damn Public sees Republicans that way.

All their ideas aren't bad, but aligning yourselves with that type - even if by perception - isn't going to score cool points with those coveted undecideds. That's my whole point. You know, perception is reality.
Why do you need to score cool points? You want to change people from what they believe in? Sounds a bit suppressive to me. "Stop believing and be like the rest of us!" That is the battle cry of the left. Everything goes, stop working and the government will take care of you. Everything will be free and so will you as long as you do not have an independent thought that might go against our agenda.

Ok why do people care that a billionaire business man contributed to democrats? I mean if that has anything to do anything please let me know how.

As far as planned parenthood, I mean if people want it then whatever, to me it's real racism at its finest and for some reason everyone is cool with it.

A lot of people blame bush for 9/11 and a whole lot more know he was wrong by going into Iraq. The bushes and those that like him can defend him all they want, but taking out Saddam was a mistake we are currently paying the price for.

That really shows you something. Trump blasting Rubio in Florida. People that champion Rubio have no effing clue how awful of a senator Rubio is. But what the hell do I know, I mean I only live in the GD state of Florida and know how craptastic of a job he has done. Rubio doesn't even show up for his job as a senator and ya'll parading this guy around like he is the Messiah. smh. Gonna learn the hard way. But hey, I'm just a regular dufus who knows nothing. Carry on.....

Of course living also in Florida means living in a huge Latino population. A huge Latino population that doesn't like the snootiness of Cuban privileges. We'll see and I can't wait to rub it in this board's guts when he drops out. Unqualified like Obama and will be just as awful as Obama. Delusion runs rampant in this country.

Yes but, you are not the big Dufasas that I am. I really don't care for any of them except Carson and we know he's going no where. The right don't want him and the those tolerant caring we love everybody except those who disagree with us on the left think he is an Uncle Tom. I have never understood that mindset on the left or those in the black community that allow it.

I'm not much on Carson, but I don't like how the left has portrayed him either, but Warrior, Carson's war mentality and foreign policy gafs also did him in. Not sure he even had a real chance. Smart as hell doctor though. Hell, if Kasich could get more pull I'd vote for his ass. America is not going to elect a fake tea party candidate. That run is o-v-e-r.

what if I told you that a man could defend Planned Parenthood, say Bush caused 9/11, and spend two decades endorsing the Clintons, yet still keep 40% of the Republican electorate entranced?

ESPN presents "30 for 30: The Irish Snake Charmer"
Some very successful people got taken by Madoff for years. Never underestimate the power of the human mind, especially certain ones, to believe what they really want to believe. People fainted listening to Obama. An old socialist hippie that the DNC is shunning is drawing huge crowds.

I have always pointed to GOP internal fighting as healthy for a democracy but Trump will gut the party. He has one endorsement from 275ish congress members. Meanwhile the left will line up behind one of those most unethical people we have every seen. We are are so totally screwed.

We're over 18 trillion in debt.

The current administration is trying to get companies to manufacture backdoors into their products so they can easily spy.

The current administration is now working to get the NSA to share all of it's domestic surveillance data with other organizations.

The executive branch has repeatedly used agencies of the federal government to target political opposition.

The executive branch refuses to prosecute blatant criminal conduct from political friends.

A significant chunk of the population lives solely on federal handouts.

Donald Trump or Hilary Clinton will be our next POTUS.

God bless America!!!!

Obamacare may not be a job killer but I am on a Board of Directors for a rural hospital and it is a hospital killer. Small hospitals are closing or filing bankruptcy and Dr's are leaving their practice because of the nonsense involved with Obamacare. We recently had one Dr leave to go to a factory where they provide health care for their workers. They are going to be the on staff physician because it is less paperwork and red tape than working in the hospital was.

There is just something in me, when watching any debate with Donald Trump participating in it, that I expect someone to say..."Live from New York it's Saturday Night!!!".
I have rolled my eyes watching Veep for more believable plots.

People like Jones who slobber over Kasich are the people who love politics as theater/sport. Even a slight glance at his policy positions and rhetoric tells you he is ridiculously out of touch and very gung-ho about bombing and invading countries.

Just look at his "first 100 days" plan and tell me he's the adult in the room. Not saying Cruz or Rubio is better, exactly, just that there is nothing about Kasich (aside from his platitudes that people mistake for common sense) that makes him a respectable candidate that Democrats would love

My sarcasm must have went right over your head.

Anyway, Obamacare is awful and can not get better. Old luck at your hospital if I owe any bills if you could kindly shred that I'd appreciate it. Also, if you don't it's most likely I did already so it's the same either way.

I love democrats really, they are so stupid!

Trump literally blamed George Bush for 9-11/ the issues with the Iraq War at the last debate and destroyed Jeb and won handily in a notorious Bush state (SC). Trump is a no holds barred kind of guy. The dirtier Rubio and Cruz want to get, the further he will bury them.

Yeah, I don't necessarily think it will work this late in the game, but the other candidates, the establishment, and both MSM both conservative and liberal corporate backed versions have to go full boar attack; they have no choice.

They don't have to be dirty... they have to hit him for his perceived "strengths" like Rubio did last night when he quipped something to the effect that if Trump didn't inherit 250 million he'd be selling watches on Canal street.

I was simultaneously laughing and crying (figuratively) watching last night's debate, the state of American politics has never been worse off imo. Common sentiment in this thread that Clintons 2.0 would be a disaster for this country and I agree.I disagree though that Trump would be better. He would be a bigger disaster of epic proportions, I'd much prefer your "I told you so" to mine. I don't care if it would make entertaining Television.

The people of OH did pass a resolution stating they did not want Medicare expanded. Then Kasich expanded Medicare in direct opposition to the expressed will of the people. So they do have that.

However, most democrats would have a heart attack if they saw what he's doing (or rather, signing into law as passed by the state legislature) with OH state taxes. Small businesses have gotten substantial tax breaks in the past few years.

In 2016, your first $250,000 of business income is tax free, and after that, business income is taxed at 3%. Just a few years ago, it would have been roughly a 5% tax on all of it.

Why hasnt Obama & the White House offered federal help to Kansas for their shooting as he did for the Uber Mich shooting?

Cruz referenced the polls on Real Clear Politics last night, so I thought I would link them because they are certainly interesting. They are an average of all the most recent polling data from other sources, and are usually pretty accurate. The only Republican that Hillary beats is Trump. Sanders on the other hand would beat any Republican. This whole campaign is just bizarre, and not in a good way, for both parties.

Yep. No matter who the Dems march out, theyll fall in line and vote them up.

I would have no problem voting for Kasich. He's growing on me.

Ive always liked Kasich. Just feel like hed get no traction at all in a general. Hes barely getting any in the primary.

Maybe because it wasn't carried out by an "automatic assault weapon that can be bought online and shipped to your door"?
Automatic assault weapons are banned for sale in this country. I would like to know where you say we can get them. Also, Assault weapons are banned too. Unless you are using the left's definition of assault weapon.

Yeah, I don't even know what to say to that. It sounds like one of those Mad Lib games.

I doubt this will get much mainstream press but I remember this girl putting this story on twitter and immediately knew it was BS. She claimed a dozen white students hurled racial insults at her and attacked her and some friends. One, white people tend to go out of their way to avoid conflict especially kids. Two, these are students who have been fed white guilt crap and are terrified of offending anyone. She got the president of the university on her side and they ran one of the white kids out of school for this...

Well, guess what? Totally fabricated because the video surveillance from the bus showed SHE was the one that hurled racial insults toward a white girl and attacked them. Just remember this crap next time something like the Missouri crap happens again. She and the other two girls are being charged now.

Here is a link to an article that showed all of her tweets. This is why I do not believe any of this crap anymore- the "hands up, don't shoot" lie, Missouri lie, Kansas lie and this one.

Rural hospitals are artifically propped up by extra Medicare payments...if we are expecting the gov't dole to shrink, then you can expect small, rural hospitals to go bye-bye as well as rural post offices. No body lives there are it is massivly expensive to keep a hospital open.

And as for paperwork and "red tape", hospials change choose to stay on paper and not report to quality agencies...the only issue there is they will be penalized in their Medicare reimbursement. But hey, who cares about technology improving patient outcomes? Did your hospital already burn through their MU money?

It's a cynical take by Jones....the Dems love to point to the Republican who can't win as the best/smartest/most worthy candidate. It at once displays both how fair minded they are (capable of acknowledging someone on the right) and how miserable/racist/stupid the Republicans are that they can't pick the obvious best choice. If Kasich were ahead, he'd be touting someone else. It's a cousin to the inevitable articles we see after a Democratic victory, when the Times or Post will send someone to Kansas or West Virginia somewhere and the theme is how they really aren't much different from "us" and they are good Americans and can't we all just get along and come together. Which of course by then is after months of characterizing those same peoples as idiots/rednecks/racists/war mongers, etc.

I thought the quotation marks around the words automatic assault weapon that can be bought online and shipped to your door would be sufficient indication of my sarcasm but maybe not.

Yeah, if a Dem suggests anyone for the GOP, that should automatically be a red flag. It's just like when Dems were totally on board with Paul Ryan as speaker. That told you everything you needed to know.
