Totally agree. If your attempt to enter our nation originates from, or in the last 12 months someone has visited, one of those countries known to harbor terror, you should be heavily vetted before being allowed to re-enter.

As for understanding root causes, I understand isis idiots have some of the same "root" issues that gang members have. They find acceptance; they find a cause in which they can engage; they find an outlet to vent stored up frustrations, etc....Absolutely no ignorance on my part. I do understand. However, identifying such issues can lead to considering the issues as excuses or viable explanations. For you to say islam is a smokescreen contradicts your saying "(they believe)...they are doing something Devine". IT IS islam that teaches them to use violence, deceit, etc... As for what moderate muslims could do: Why not start with having their spiritual leaders stand in their mosques and speak the truth about the behavior of their fellow believers? Call it what it is: Evil. Reject the claim that such murderous behavior leads to eternal rewards.
What I'd really like to see is for them to open their eyes and see islam for what it is...an evil lie.
