In reading an article about a 'racial discrimination" lawsuit of a contractor working on the Obama 'Presidential Library' I saw this.....

There’s 3 large houseboat facilities that lay dormant, the old Belden wire plant is empty, plenty of empty building downtown and at the tradeway shopping center, and two motels that lay in disrepair.
What I am suggesting and what I think would help Monticello is to get a highly motivated population of immigrants, with the skills I mentioned earlier, to help revitalize other places in the 606 that are losing population. Wayne has lost 8k since its peak in 2000.

Losing trade partners is possible, but so long as we hold the world reserve currency that isn't likely to happen. If we lose the reserve then that will be the end.
