Relations getting better or worse do not disprove that Russia/Putin interfered in the election. A fact that is pretty well universally accepted in the intelligence community. The primary aim for that interference was to destabilize the election process and create doubt in peoples minds about the election process.
Add that if the Russians did favor Trump over Clinton that doesn't prove that they liked either. They may feel that Trump would be more easily manipulated, easier to use to create a wedge between the US and its allies.
It also doesn't eliminate the possibility that the US/Russian feud is staged by Trump/Putin because people like yourself who are looking to grasp anything to disprove a Trump/Russian alliance.
