C’mon, Sammy Shins. We’ve been through this several times. The Biden administration was/is a house of cards. Lie after lie after lie.

For starters…

The government recently reported that job gains between March 2023 and March 2024 had been overstated by 818,000, a breath-taking “goof” by the official bean counters. All those reports that were cheered by the Biden-Harris administration?

Last year, job numbers were revised downward (never upward) for 10 months — not a stellar record. In June 2023, for instance, instead of adding 209,000 jobs, as originally reported, it turns out the economy added only 105,000. That kind of repeated error makes people suspicious.

Well, after 1.5 games, the great 12 team experiment is shit. I was pretty excited about it, despite seeing how free agency has destroyed college sports. But this is just as bad as the first 2 rounds of the NCAAW tourney.

Fact.
I never understood why they went straight to 12. Money, no doubt. 6 would be perfect as the top 2 would get byes.

I’d love to have a government that doesn’t kiss the ring of Israel and do their bidding.

To be clear, I am 100% against Palestine, Israel and Ukraine across the board.

It’s undeniable though that we have gone to war with so many countries on the behalf of Israel.

TIAA/CREF predicted our current inflationary situation in 1996:

Let's ask Grok: adjusting for inflation, what would a burger and fries in 1996 cost in 2025.

7 web pages

Adjusting for inflation, a burger and fries that cost around $5 in 1996 would be approximately $10.67 in 2025, using an average annual inflation rate of about 2.4% from 1996 to 2023 (the last full year available for inflation data). However, recent trends indicate a higher-than-average inflation rate, particularly in food prices.

A viral advertisement from 1996 by TIAA-CREF humorously predicted that a burger and fries could cost $16 in 30 years, which would be in 2026. While this seems high compared to a straightforward inflation adjustment, recent reports highlight significant price increases in fast food, with some cities seeing burger and fries combos approaching or even exceeding $16 due to inflation and other economic factors. For instance, a Five Guys receipt showed a burger and fries costing $24 in some instances, reflecting the surge in food prices in certain areas.

Therefore, while a direct inflation adjustment suggests a cost of about $10.67, market trends and the cost of living in certain areas might push the price closer to or even higher than the $16 predicted in the 1996 ad by 2025.

BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT HAPPENED!

The price increases went up drastically over the covid pandemic. You did not see the average price increase slightly every year to what they are now.

These prices went up over 75-200% from 2019 to 2024

Notice how McDonald's in San Francisco has to gaslight you into believing that's a "Large Fries" even though it isn't:

You must have missed the part about plants in the crowd encouraging entry.
Congressional police holding the door open.
Setting up simpletons and grannies.
Prosecuting said grannies.
Who is the bomber again? CIA or FBI?
Probably missed the FBI assassination set up on the gov of Michigan also.
How do you feel about Russia Russia Russia? Peepee hoax? Dossier?
Believe em all I'll wager.
You're wasting your time. He's been told, and told, and told. He REFUSES to listen.

I didn’t want 12. I wanted 8 but don’t base this on two lower ranked seeds losing as expected. This is more about getting to see Boise State to me. Clemson can beat Texas as well.

Not going to weep for shitty Bama who thinks they should be entitled to get an auto bid for being in the SEC.

People are just conditioned to what they know. This has happened so much in baseball and basketball and pro football.

The Reds were the second best team in baseball in the early 80s yet the best team in baseball was in their division so they missed the playoffs.

In the NFL, you had 11-5 teams who didn’t make the playoffs but teams with worse records made it cause they played in a bad division.

In the NBA, we had western conference teams miss the playoffs but would’ve been a four seed if they were in the East.

No one has anything to cry about this year. Every team that should’ve made it, did.

He LIED constantly. Remember he denied the laptop during the debate?!?! Remember the "moderator" (side point, they are not moderate, but libs ... we should call them "liberator", but that wouldn't be right either ... sigh) "fact-checking" Joe every single time he lied during the debate?? No you dont.

Who built the cages, Joe?

Your stock market number has been debunked multiple times when accounting for inflation. And while we're on inflation ... nearly 40 year high in inflation. Highest since when Jimmy Carter left the nation in shambles too.

And how about that "Democratic" process your party engages in? Do you not realize the current Dim party is the most autocratic entity we've seen in America since before the Revolutionary War?? That is your side.

How many troops are in Syria? 900? 2000? The administration has LIED about everything. And your DUMBass continues to sick at their teats.

You truly are the village idiot.
Call them Communists, then you will be on a better track. (Oh, they'd use force if they could talk some into it...)

Agree, not what I'm saying. There is not 12 teams with one iota of a chance. Maybe 4? We'll see here in this 3rd game. The 12 team playoff has been a joke thus far, 2 games in. It's gotta get better.

I remember the strike season ('81?) and Johnny Bench making that statement slightly different. The Reds came in 2nd in the first half of the strike and 2nd in the second half. They had the best record in baseball, both leagues, but didn't make the playoffs because of a stupid "committee". College football has done the same. I think 8 would've been better too. Couldn't have been worse LOL.

The ideal world would be to go by standings and cut out the majority of college football. Get your ACC and Big 12 to be consolidated so you just have the big boys. Cut out all of the non power games where Bama invites Mercer to come get the shit kicked out of them.

Take committee out of it entirely. Make this reflect NFL standings and how they do the playoffs.

No one on here has ever explained how they justify the huge government land grab needed for the wall. remember 2009-2010 when Obama try to claim some Texas land along the Red River? Republicans screamed in horror and fought to the bitter end to stop it. Militia idiots came in and made the FBI drag them out. It was a very small amount of land that wasn't even going to be used for anything, just a routine survey change. Almost all of the border in Texas that doesn't have barriers is private owned. Now Republicans are advocating for Trump & big government to steal hundreds of thousands of acres that would be tore apart and clear cut for Trump's wall. You want citizens to forfeit their property in the name of security? How did that turn out when citizens forfeited privacy in the name of security?

Theres no way IU beats Bama, Ole Miss, or USCjr, especially if they had to play them back to back to back.

ND in the SEC is a .500 team at best.

The playoffs is a joke.

Outside muslims, which other groups haven't assimilated? Amish - who voted in larger numbers than ever for Trump? Orthodox Jews? Quite the stumper you have there.
Oh I don’t know… how about the millions of illegal foreign nationals from all over the world who invaded our border over the past 4 years? Pretty sure a whole bunch of them aren’t Muslims. Those folks certainly aren’t assimilating. They’re here for all the free shit we hand out to them.

He is already started with his speech about actor's and insurance, but Rand Paul's annual end of the year list of the dumbest things our government spends money will soon be on the way. Good new is DOGE is on the way.

From the article:

The report will focus on hundreds of billions of dollars in federal waste, including electric vehicle charging stations and millions spent on magic, Paul previewed. One of the most eyebrow-raising expenditures Paul described is $1 million allocated to study the sexual effects of cocaine on Japanese quail.

“I can tell you the total will be in the hundreds of billions for the entire Festivus report,” he added. “I can tell you that there is also going to be some money for the southern border, but not the southern border of the United States, for the southern border of Paraguay.”

The report will also delve into the National Science Foundation (NSF), which saw its budget doubled to $8 billion last year. Paul pointed out that the NSF funds what he considers frivolous studies, such as one examining whether people are more or less likely to eat food after sneezing on it.

Senator Paul’s Festivus Report is known for its sharp critique of government spending. Last year’s 24-page report covered $900 billion of waste including an NIH grant to study Russian cats walking on a treadmill, Barbies used as proof of ID for receiving COVID Paycheck Protection Program funds, and $6 million to promote tourism in Egypt.

I wonder why. lol.

Well you get to see next week how Notre Dame does against the SEC. But this isn’t an SEC invitational. All Bama had to do was not get blown out by Oklahoma and it’s a non issue. They did not deserve it. These teams losing today doesn’t change that.

Oklahoma could blow out IU.

Those teams (IU, SMU, etc) SUCK.

Let them bang week after week in the SEC... they're not .500 teams.
