The left's new catch phrase with any shooting now is to mock "thoughts and prayers." I'm not an overly religious guy but it seems to me like these shootings started about the time we took prayer out of schools and started indoctrinating instead of teaching critical thinking. So, maybe thoughts and prayers is exactly what we need.
And as much as they make fun of "thoughts and prayers," their battle cry of "do something about guns!" is just as laughable. Guns aren't going away. There's way too many and most Americans aren't stupid enough to disarm themselves and become defenseless against our government or the dregs of society. So shut up with that and focus on why kids want to shoot other kids instead.

Guns are part of the problem but it’s a multi-pronged approach to fixing all this. I have 3 kids in school. It’s frustrating that nothing will ever get done. I gave up on that after everyone decided things were fine after Sandy Hook.
