What makes you think I don't want Patel & Bondi to investigate & root them out, for these supposed kickback or anything else? I believe some $ went missing in Ukraine, but doubt those people listed received it. I truly don't get why so many here immediately believe anything, absolutely anything, about those pols they despise. It's a Palovian response all the time. The last is what I'm sarcastic about.

I don't expect Bondi & Patel to find anything on this particular subject. And the screamers of fraud & kickbacks here won't believe it/be satisfied. That's because that's what they are. For them, government will always be corrupt no matter who is running it.

To me, the most reasonable explanation for the wealth in Congress is inside access to deals (Pelosi leads that list for me.), whether stock market or otherwise. Others marry into money like McConnell & Kerry. Are outrageous book deals kickback? Don't you think Vance made money off book sales increases after being nominated? What do you do about that?
Great points. I’d also love for all corruption to be rooted out, but I just don’t believe one party is responsible for it and I think there’s mechanisms in place to prevent large swaths of corruption.

Dale Gribble is an awesome character, but when Dales outnumber the more rational Hanks then that’s when we have a problem.

Cheering for the woman who overspent 1 BILLION dollars by 20 million dollars and still left her works high and dry.... Horrible people propped up by horrible people. Was she at this store looking for a job?
She probably has a crowd she pays to follow her at public appearances. I would NOT doubt it. She'd just put it on her campaign's credit card.....

"Ain't" worked a day in her life... Probably "picked-up" $990.00 worth of good's though and had her "Posse" pack it in another car...

Dimocrats dominate the Fed government. Net, I believe they are highly responsible for the large majority of the corruption.

Trump was set to fire many of those people at the end of his first tenure. I've read that he plans on doing that pretty soon in this term. Do you think firing 50k+ people, reevaluating the merit of the job, and then replacing them (hopefully though a meritocracy) will fix any preconceived problems? I know people on my side will be pissed, but do you think restarting at such a scale will be fruitful?

HAHA,

It's got more problems than which bathroom it now has to use. AND teaches your children too... That Ohio Legislature sure pulled a fast one on IT...

Only IT I ever knew until they Became/ Become IT...

First off, there's over 2M Fed employees. So 50K is nothing to me. Net, at 200K you're starting to get somewhere. The point is replacing them is unnecessary. Yes, making people do their dam jobs vs. not even coming in would be fruitful imo.

Trump’s Net Worth Jumps After Nasdaq Listing

The data we used to create this graphic can be found in the table below. As of April 1, 2024, Trump’s net worth was measured at $5.7 billion. Note that Forbes updates this value regularly.

YearNet Worth ($B)
20143.9
20154.1
20164.5
20173.5
20183.1
20193.1
20202.1
20212.4
20223.0
20232.5
2024
(As of April 1)
5.7
It’s safe to say that going forward, Trump’s net worth will be largely influenced by the value of his stake in Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG). SEC filings have revealed that the former president has a stake of at least 58.1% in the company.

I actually don't know a lot about this policy, other than NOAA jobs will be at risk. I'm not going respond at something I don't know a lot about. So 200k jobs are going to be reformatted? If you have a quick link that explains some of this and can share that would be awesome. Or I could google it.

I know nothing of what you are asking.

So at this point, Pubs have 50.7% of all 2024 congressional votes. Looks like they will win only 220 seats. Even by proportional representation, that translates to 225 House seats, but being the majority, I'd expect that to be 230-235, even 240 given Dims have just 47.7% with rest going to minor candidates.

So why didn't the Pubs win more House seats? Two things to me.

One, Dims do a better job of gerrymandering their big population states plus Soros works against g-ming in only big Pub states.

But two, it comes back to allowing illegals being counted in the Census towards awarded House seats vs. just citizens or citizen plus green card holders. The illegals reside disproportionately in the likes of CA/NY/NJ/MA that gets them extra seats to the tune of 10-15. It's bs. If Congress doesn't change this system for the 2030 Census, then Pubs are wasting a huge chance to permanently change the balance of House power. JMO.

I don't know why this isn't a BFD. But hardly talked about.

So why don't you tell your butt-boy Mitch to get off his China ass and do something about it? He's only been in the Senate for forty years.

by the time 2030 rolls around, California, northeast, and Illinois will have shrank so much that it won’t matter. I saw some numbers that even if the blue wall returns, it won’t be enough for democrats to win. They’re going by to have to find a more permanent blue state and I just don’t see one at the moment.

It's clear he was an informant from the beginning. They had this guy on video trying to get people to go in when others were immediately saying no and calling him a fed. The FBI doesn't want that guy but uses geotracking to get a grandma to be sent to prison? GTFOH.

Epps is the only guy the feds apparently had no interest in for the 'worst day in American history.' Now why is that?

i love most of trump’s picks so far but it’s going to be tough getting them confirmed, especially with rino thune now heading the senate. still shaking my head over that one.
I'd love for congress to have to wear body cams like cops so any time a negotiation is discussed, you know exactly what's be lorded over others. You'd quickly see how much of everything is straight blackmail and extortion.

Sounds like Russia is well on their way to bankruptcy.

The looming specter of Trump is making non-compliant actors, far and wide, nervous as f**k.

The Senate has all but said that they're willing to recess appoint the majority of Trumps nominees.

Trump is walking into a perfect situation, with respect to Russia's economy (which is crumbling because of Dutch Disease), to be able to bitch slap Putin into submission.

I misinterpreted your original post. My bad.

Agree with most of what you posted above. Someone writes a book and the public buys it, no care. Someone votes appropriations and part of that comes back to them - throw their a$$ in jail for a long time. Pelosi and others have been inside trading for decades and no one seems to GAF. Makes me see red every time I think about it. Non-politicians get indicted and go to jail for insider trading, not politicians. I call BS on that. I hope new FBI director assigns his most persistent bulldogs to find and prosecute all those pols who have games the system and broken the law.

My god you're dumb. He's saying wait for Jan 21st when Trump is inaugurated.

Sheesh you think everything's about you, son.
You & he are both DA's. Inauguration Day is Jan. 20. Now I'm supposed to figure out you're both that dumb much less what's he talking about? GD.

The US accounts for 25% of the entire world’s GDP. Has there ever been a country this dominant?
Yes. The United States was damn near TWICE as dominant in 1960 when it accounted for 40% of the entire world’s GDP.

Then the federal government effed everything up with over regulation & aggressive corporate taxes.

So what’s your point?
