What makes you think I don't want Patel & Bondi to investigate & root them out, for these supposed kickback or anything else? I believe some $ went missing in Ukraine, but doubt those people listed received it. I truly don't get why so many here immediately believe anything, absolutely anything, about those pols they despise. It's a Palovian response all the time. The last is what I'm sarcastic about.

I don't expect Bondi & Patel to find anything on this particular subject. And the screamers of fraud & kickbacks here won't believe it/be satisfied. That's because that's what they are. For them, government will always be corrupt no matter who is running it.

To me, the most reasonable explanation for the wealth in Congress is inside access to deals (Pelosi leads that list for me.), whether stock market or otherwise. Others marry into money like McConnell & Kerry. Are outrageous book deals kickback? Don't you think Vance made money off book sales increases after being nominated? What do you do about that?
I misinterpreted your original post. My bad.

Agree with most of what you posted above. Someone writes a book and the public buys it, no care. Someone votes appropriations and part of that comes back to them - throw their a$$ in jail for a long time. Pelosi and others have been inside trading for decades and no one seems to GAF. Makes me see red every time I think about it. Non-politicians get indicted and go to jail for insider trading, not politicians. I call BS on that. I hope new FBI director assigns his most persistent bulldogs to find and prosecute all those pols who have games the system and broken the law.

My god you're dumb. He's saying wait for Jan 21st when Trump is inaugurated.

Sheesh you think everything's about you, son.
You & he are both DA's. Inauguration Day is Jan. 20. Now I'm supposed to figure out you're both that dumb much less what's he talking about? GD.

The US accounts for 25% of the entire world’s GDP. Has there ever been a country this dominant?
Yes. The United States was damn near TWICE as dominant in 1960 when it accounted for 40% of the entire world’s GDP.

Then the federal government effed everything up with over regulation & aggressive corporate taxes.

So what’s your point?

Ah, so when something positive happens Mitch gets the credit. When the GOP fails Mitch is somehow just another nobody.

Got it.

Do I need to pull your recent quotes bragging about how Mitch gets credit for everything?

Was Mitch ever Majority Leader? In 2018?
He gets credit or blame when he has control of the outcome. You can look up when he was majority leader.

The new administration has great respect for your long years of teaching kids that 2+2=4 but the actual result isn't that important. Also teaching the children to color inside the lines gets you bonus points. Your weird obsession with pregnant 12yos will put you on the pedo watchlist.
Pedos should be castrated and jailed for life or executed for murder.
My concern is safety and security for children.
That includes not forcing state mandated pregnancy and parenthood on them against their family's will.

Wouldn't it make more sense for Mitch to step down from his seat before the end of his term, to force Andy to appoint a Republican successor, thereby giving that person a leg up in the election?

AOC running for POTUS would be about the most Democrat thing EVER. SHE is so stupid, that by comparison, she makes Kamala look like Grace Hopper...

Just an observation. Being 25% is > simply because of the rapid modernization of Africa, Middle East, and East Asian.

We were only that dominant due to the rest of the world economic engines still recovering from WWII. You couldn't buy a car except from the US Big Three plus AMC plus VW bugs. For our 4% of the world's population, I say still being at 26% in 2023 is pretty impressive.

I'm not a ballistics expert but ummm, I'm pretty sure that bullet resistant vests, just like motorcycle helmets, are "one offs" IOW - one use, for their intended purpose, destroys their integrity, and they have to be replaced. LOL
Sure. The point was... he was going to let an absolute stranger shoot at him and trust he'd hit the vest.... even at a short distance....

Which one of you MAGA morons is this? Maybe @warrior-cat or @HymanKaplan ? It’s always hilarious that Trump decided to do the “jerk off 2 guys at once” dance to a song about gay guys having sex at the YMCA lol

There’s tons of these videos floating around Twitter. All of them seem to be well off white families who seem to be doing just fine despite Trump telling us all how much of a shit hole this country is. Glad Biden got everything back under control with his good leadership and being the adult in the room.
You hate people having fun don't you. LOL. I bet you went skinny dipping with fat lesbians over Thanksgiving didn't you???? LOL

I was corrected a while back that the new procedure is for Andy to call a special election.

White families doing well is great, I know my family is doing fine. Thats the point though. Trump shit on this country for the last year on the campaign trail convincing well off families like the one in the video that things are so tough. Meanwhile things are fine.
Part of the reason you lost this election was you kept telling working class who were complaining about their economics, that they were doing good. Eventually you'll learn but I bet it wont be til 2030. Keep talking down to people and tell them they are too stupid to know how good they have it. It's a real winner.

You mean Bolton, the Dolt?

An advisor? Is that even a paid position or a gopher position? Advisor: a person who gives advice .... Who'd listen to that Dolt? Odds are he PAID to have that position...

I believe that mutual funds should NOT be allowed to vote their shares. Too many opportunities for conflict of interest, imo. If XYZ fund has a bigger stake in Apple than Samsung, wouldn't it behoove the fund to subtly hurt Samsung so that Apple would reap the benefits and the fund would prosper, also? What Abbott is suing about is also an issue: Blackrock execs LOVE them some DEI and climate change/Green New Deal. How does that help Exxon and Chevron and coal companies and mining companies? Blackrock is NOT voting those shares (or, at least, have the opportunity to NOT vote those shares) to promote those companies' core business but have ulterior motives, which could harm individual shareholders. Does owning more of a particular company's stock mean a seat on the BOD? Wouldn't that perhaps lead a fund to purchase more than might be prudent just so they have that Board seat and can change the company to suit THEIR wishes rather than the other stockholders'?
Like Disney. Nelson Peltz tried to get board seats to change direction of the company and save it from itself.... Blackrock and Vanguard voted 100% for Iger slate. Those 2 companies own, I think, 35% of the company. I'd bet most of the people investing with Blackrock and Vanguard are opposed to the DEI crap but a few people at the top can just tank a company for politics.

While Bolton has agreed to take EVERY ill-gotten gain he could pilfer or get his hands on all can rest assured his name would NEVER be on the Epstein island manifest...

You mean other than Ukraine?

At least with Ukraine there are reports that support what we're doing, if one is gullible enough to believe said reports. At least there are reports.

With sfb there is nothing i saw that supported any argument whatsoever for the treatment he got. Was just straight bribes.

SBF was laundering money from Ukraine back to democrats... Did you not see that part of his case?

Sounds like Russia is well on their way to bankruptcy.

The looming specter of Trump is making non-compliant actors, far and wide, nervous as f**k.

The Senate has all but said that they're willing to recess appoint the majority of Trumps nominees.
Agreed but no one seems to want to admit it's a global slowdown. Germany is the Industrial giant of Europe and they are crashing. China is looking at huge debt bomb going off in their country. We are going to get a global recession the only question is how bad and how long.

I heard that Soros is heavily involved in Rivian and this was way for him to get his money out before they go bankrupt.

Once the new administration takes over they need to go right back and collect every cent given to them. Amount due upon receipt.
