From what I've heard, Amish receive religious exemption somewhere on the taxes, which helps keep operating costs so low. They also receive huge breaks on fishing catch limits. Again, going off what I've been told.

Talked to him early this morning. I'll ask him more on the subject next time I speak with him. Considering building a couple small 16x12 cabins up there. Returning April 18th-22. On 19th, we're heading out to Lake Barkley for a day.

Obviously this doesn't mean Harris is winning IA but if it's anywhere close to this, she wins the race.
