Got to the Scott County Court House when it opened this morning. Stood in line for an hour to vote.

Far too many women voting for my liking. They really gum up the works (they take FAR too long to vote. It's like watching an old person try and order fast food.)
Go in the afternoon after their husbands get off work. You’ll see more men.

It doesn’t matter this daily smash trump while Kamala talks it about it on the tarmac. It is having its desired impact. It’s a daily lie. Followed by Harris comments that take trumps out of context. Trump very well could lose because of the media people need to be prepared
Nah

I can immediately identify the problem voters in front of me.

Women (unless they're with their husband.)

Sandals

Anyone that "studies" the sample ballot. (if you don't already know, then you're wasting time, and canceling out an informed vote.)

"Is this where I vote?" person.
Saw a middle-aged heavyset lady yesterday when I went. Had a hair band thing with big flowers in rainbow like colors, a funky colored scarf, clothes with some funky pattern and pink croc flip flops flippin and snappin as she walked. They make it obvious.

There it is. More platitudinal sophistry.
Shout "It's duh science!" and then stroll away with your nose in the air.
All scientific THEORIES should be questioned and challenged.
Especially if it's a pigeonholed causation with the only answer being the deconstruction of 1st world standards of living.
Then it really needs to be questioned meticulously.
Insinuation isn’t a real argument.

Fear mongering? Its common sense. Ice caps are melting, those dont return in 10 years. Glaciers are breaking off and dwindling. The Earth is changing. Even if you take science away, Stevie Wonder could see differences between 40 years ago vs now. Even in my short life ive noticed huge changes in winters just in Kentucky.

I'm always amazed how anyone Repub or Dem refusing to admit that the earth is warming.

Out of 100 doctors, if 98 of them told you that they found a tumor in your colon and showed you the MRI...would you believe them?
You do realize that glaciers have been retreating from the end of the ice age, correct?
Gore claimed they would be gone by the early 2000's and that NYC would be under water.
It absolutely is fear mongering and an overreaction in order to manipulate.

Arabs and Amish are going to bring Mich and PA home for Big Red. F Georgia.

May have a shot in Michigan. PA is a hot mess with fraud everywhere. Trump would have to win by 500k votes to win by 1 there and then the Dems will just throw in 2 after the fact.

Yeah zero shot in GA imo. Fulton Co bs will decide GA and compromised Kemp and the SOS hate Trump.

That being said, we still have to vote. They want you to lose faith in the system and stay home.

I've only voted twice. Biden and Harris were my votes and I would've preferred a better choice both times. I did not vote for them because they were Democrats, but only because I preferred them over Donald Trump. Because of the electoral college and living in Kentucky, I knew my vote would not matter in the outcome of the election.

From the 2024 GOP platform:
1. Seal the border
2. End inflation
3. Prevent WWIII
4. Support and Defend the Constitution
5. Protect Medicare and Social Security with no cuts, including no changes to the mandatory retirement age.

I have been amazed at how many people on this board will go out of their way to tell me who I am, what I think and why I think that way ... and it's all free of charge !!

It reminds me of the one of the funniest and most insightful jokes I've ever heard by Lou Holtz on ESPN. It went something like this:
I was visiting a nursing home the other day and went up to one lady in a wheelchair, chatted with her and asked her if she knew who I was. She said "no, I don't, but if you'll go over there to the nurses' station, THEY'LL tell you who you are!" 😎

Fwiw … Trump was a life-long Democrat, too.
If those are the five GOP policies you agree with, please explain why you will still vote Kamala? What Liberal policies are more important than any of those you listed that it sways your vote. Seems like those GOP common sense priorities would pretty much trump just about any other policy any liberal could put forward.
Just shows you are voting your feels instead using common sense.

Let’s go over this again.

The Greenland ice sheet contains ~2.9 million gigatons (Gt) of ice, the equivalent of 2.9 million billion tons. 🧊

Yes, that’s right. Math is involved. 😊

Now, if the ice sheet is losing 30 million tons of ice per hour, that works out to 720 million tons of ice per day, or 262.8 billion tons of ice per year. 🫠

Sounds scary! 😱

‘Til you realize at that rate it’d take more than 11,035-years for the entire ice sheet to melt. And, while the rate of loss might accelerate or decelerate, this calculation doesn’t take into account annual snowfall accumulation, and is based on flawed GRACE gravity measurements

Not trying to be a smartass here, genuinely curious. Can a lefty please give a rational explanation how a heavily populated state like Florida can wrap up their election results on the same night unlike Maricopa County, PA, Michigan, and others? This isn’t 2020 and the surge of mail-in ballots is not even remotely similar to that year.

Maricopa may be the most incompetent, embarrassing.
When the counting stopped in 2020 swing states we had libs like Dion on here claiming they needed a nap.

Well looky there. The VIdiot managed to find one of the most hypocritical quotes I've ever seen by BRussell. Amazing how leftist flies are drawn to sht

Good lord! I read the post, but I didn't realize THE VILLAGE IDIOT posted it!

Amazing!

Too many words. In general my problem with what I think you're suggesting is a few unelected people decide what is and what isn't "disinformation". I agree this would be hard to implement. [Edit: the biden-Harris regime tried to do that ... with predictably disastrous results. I appreciate what you're trying to get at, but there is ZERO way to trust government to do it.] This is one of the beauties and dangers of free speech. And IMO, the left is using that beauty against us, just like Alinsky described.
Not government controlled. Lottery, so many from each party represented, private entity with pay for their work during that election. If you have republican, democrat, green party, libertarian, communist and so forth on the ticket each gets one or two (citizens) on that commission. With Zoom and teams no need to be in one place. Just have evidence. Review, vote. That is all it takes. Almost like jury duty but paid much better. Elections are now a billion dollar industry. So part goes to the election commission for pay of representatives.

So was Elon, Tulsa, rfk jr, etc.

Are you.making the Maga point, that the uniparty (especially the dem side) is absolutely awful?

Well, I did MY part. If society, the DNC, state election boards, and the courts are determined to put their thumb on the scales there is nothing we can do about it. I said over 6 months ago that Trump needed scores of lawyers in the swing states, challenging anything and everything, but they haven't done it.

Every Trump voter in those states, that hasn't voted yet is going to have to suck it up, for hours on end, and overwhelm the election day vote. That's the best we can do.

If he loses, he loses. It'll be a sad day though, and it will usher in one party rule for all of our lifetimes IMO.

So says Mega MAGA Man....
"Our great democracies still tend to think that a stupid man is more likely to be honest than a clever man, and our politicians take advantage of this prejudice by pretending to be even more stupid than nature made them."
Bertrand Russell

of COURSE you feel that way ... now that you're on the other side. You must not give 2 chits about the younger generation to include your grandchildren. You are 100% okay with OTHERS paying higher so you can keep your viagra low...
I have always felt that way and was happy to pay more to insure solvency and benefits, not only for my future but that of fellow Americans. I never understood why contribution rates weren’t raised, based on projections and actuarial tables. This was often discussed over the years at my CPE seminars. It was the politicians who were unwilling to raise the rates and limits, not most people I knew and worked with. Borrowing from the SSA funds by Congress was upsetting to folks, too.

Regards Viagra, I’ve had prostate cancer and it’s useless.

Fwiw … what’s always been amazing to me is how few people know that, except for self-employed people, FICA and Medicare taxes are matched by their employers. Folks get full benefits, but have only contributed half the cost.
