On the other hand, I also can't believe the would be assasin missed with as many shots as he got off before he was finally hit. Also wouldn't have been standing there filming it. I'd have been trying to get up there to stop him. Don't see anyone trying to do that in the video, but I've only seen one angle of the shooter so far.

I think it would be cool for Vivek to be in charge of Trumps social media. He's a younger guy...he can probably relate to young people and turn some into repub voters. Also maybe host events/rallies with younger people as well.

I've seen the pictures and videos of the Secret Service sniper teams and they have wrap-around microphones on.
What I do not understand is why they did not immediately notify those protecting Trump so that he could be covered up and quickly placed out of line of fire ?? I suspect that will be one of many talking points about various failures and breakdowns in security at the event. It may simply be a matter of seconds and there wasn't time for the snipers to notify their fellow secret service associates down by Trump ... there will be much discussion about the failures here, especially the failure to be more pro-active in their security of Trump and the entire area.
