Nothing wrong with a GED. Buddy of mine wanted to get one and quit high school so he could go to college as a sophomore. He wasn't challenged in any of his classes and was just tired of the slow rolling and to the test teaching. He stuck with it once he learned he could play sports again, and wishes to this day that he hadn't.
That was my only avenue to making something for me and my family. Granted, it's total failure to some but I held strong and played it till the end. Not bragging by no means but my monthly pension for a dumb fuque is very very good. Had I not landed the job I had, my next step was a career in the Navy.
