Nothing wrong with a GED. Buddy of mine wanted to get one and quit high school so he could go to college as a sophomore. He wasn't challenged in any of his classes and was just tired of the slow rolling and to the test teaching. He stuck with it once he learned he could play sports again, and wishes to this day that he hadn't.

That was my only avenue to making something for me and my family. Granted, it's total failure to some but I held strong and played it till the end. Not bragging by no means but my monthly pension for a dumb fuque is very very good. Had I not landed the job I had, my next step was a career in the Navy.

Not saying you are wrong...but please enlighten me as to why someone who has followed the law and filed their taxes properly ends up in federal court years after the IRS audits them.
Was it your mistake as the tax preparer or lawyer? Did they lie or cheat on their taxes?
Did they make an honest mistake that can't be corrected?
I had a friend get audited and it just required a simple resubmission of better records/ forms and an amended tax form.
Really not being a smart azz. Just not seeing why it takes years to resolve an issue on your taxes if you are filing properly with proper documentation.
