From Massie's newsletter:

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has introduced a resolution to remove Mike Johnson from his position as Speaker of the House. I am a cosponsor of the legislation.

We recently held a press conference to discuss the need for Speaker Johnson's removal. I have embedded the video of this event above and I encourage you to watch it.

As Speaker, Mike Johnson has continually enlisted a majority of House Democrats to override House Republicans. He did this to:

1) Pass an omnibus spending bill that spends more money than Pelosi did

2) Reauthorize warrantless spying on Americans; further, he cast the deciding vote to defeat the warrant requirement sought by House conservatives

3) Send $60 billion to Ukraine

Together, Speaker Johnson and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries have revealed the existence of the Uniparty that currently governs Washington, D.C. With this poor record, it comes as no surprise that House Democratic Leadership recently endorsed Speaker Johnson in writing.

Why does Hakeem Jeffries want Mike Johnson as Speaker? Because the Democrats want:

  • No action taken on the border
  • No conservative policy victories
  • More money for Ukraine
  • A Democratic House majority
  • An expanded Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation
  • No budget cuts
  • President Trump to lose in November
They know that the uninspiring Mike Johnson can deliver all of these things if he remains as Speaker.
So now besides cheating, Massie will blame Johnson remaining as Speaker as a reason for Trump losing. LMAO. He's making himself harder & harder for me to vote for again.

What worries me (and really it should not since Jeffries claim they run the house) is the democrats will gain majority with GOP retirements and such. That's their end game is to control all three branches, then look out if that happens.
Jefferies can claim whatever he wants. And you believe him just now? LMAO.

But oust Johnson & he's probably right on Dims gain House control.

i’ve heard more than one conservative speak out against mtg and her efforts to oust the speaker. admittedly it comes at a bad time when the pubs should be focused on getting trump elected, but should johnson be given free reign to continue to bend a knee to the democrats?
i get the feeling that there are very few true hard line republicans in our governing body. i wish republicans had the resolve to stick together like the dems.
Duh, of course there are very few hardline fridge Pubs. And Pubs could stick together if not for them.

The Dems pretty much have control of the House right now. Your love of RINOs and establishment politicians is pathetic.

How many Pub votes did Orange Woman get to even bring the Johnson ouster up for a vote? It's those fringers giving Jefferies power & MAGA here is too dumb to realize it.

Given he's accommodating Hamas by not assisting Israel, it isn't a stretch in any sense. All a matter of definition, and how you view our allies.

Well we are the United States of America, not Israel. It’s a huge stretch to say refusing to fund their military operations is treason.

Thats the type of insane thinking that has people impeach a president for considering possibly not sending weapons to Ukraine.

196-11 was the Pub vote to keep Johnson. Only 11 non-rinos left for you. Must be lonely out there on the limb cutting it off behind you.

Of course he isn't a true conservative. Look how much money he allowed Congress to spend and pushed bailout money which shifted us to quasi socialism.

Doesn't mean he isn't by far the better choice but no one should think he is a true conservative.
So what true conservative would you vote for over him? Me: DeSantis in a heartbeat. Youngkin too. Abbott.

But MAGA wouldn't because they aren't conservative.

I’ve said this so many times over the years but the modern Left has completely destroyed satire. The Left simply out-absurds anything someone could write as satire.
[laughing]

Correct. "Left Can't Meme" contains more truth than many readily admit. Late night talk shows are beyond absurd, written be Democrat party operatives.

So Biden will send bombs to Ukraine so they can kill innocent Russian civilians (not that Russia government is good and not saying i disagree with sending weapons to Ukraine) yet he won’t send weapons to Israel because those weapons could kill innocent Gaza civilians? Not taking sides necessarily on getting involved in other’s conflicts, Just trying to understand the difference in the two cases.

Thornton's used to be supplied by Dunkin's, not sure who's supplying them now, they're just branded as their own now. Have you tried Jeff's PPU's?
Yea, Thornton's now actually makes their own. They stopped the deal with Dunkin after Dunkin started opening up their own locations. As you may know, the other side of my personal empire is a struggling restaurant. At a food supplier (Sysco) event I met the woman who basically was the Thornton's employee who was over all of that, their food services essentially. I am a big fan of their PPU's so when she told me that she worked in that part of the company I asked her, "who makes your PPU's." Got the scoop.

Desantis and youngkin for sure. I think Abbott is fine but down my list because he caved on covid whereas desantis stood strong.

I think Vivek is interesting and I would vote for him but I'm concerned he's too idealistic.

I'll still stand in the rain to vote trump over Biden but I sure wish trump would've stepped aside to let desantis take the nom. Desantis and vp Vivek would win this election easily. They would be a great combo with a practical leader who gets things done and an ideal guy in Vivek.

You do realize consumer spending DROPS, not rises when Americans have no money to spend. 😂

Just saw a clip of Biden on CNN. Holy shit I can’t believe this is the message you guys are going with. The reporter said people are spending 30% more on groceries, and he parroted the line “people have money to spend.”

I was giving sambowieshin the benefit of the doubt that he came up with that idiocy himself, but nope, looks like that actually is the democrat talking point.

Are there "innocent" Gaza civilians?

These folks are still Palestinians... and its WELL DOCUMENTED that they're taught from birth to hate Jews.

One thing that amazes me about rfk is the fact he isn't much younger than the other two, but he seems decades younger. I hope he gets some debate time vs Biden because I'd love to see him rip the vaccine mandates.

Of course Biden, if he has any acuity on that night, can just blame it all on trump because trump was the one who pushed the whole vaccine rush.

That goes back to my main complaint about trump being the nominee: he cannot attack Dems on anything.

Vaccines? Trump started them. Riots? Trump allowed them. Inflation? Trump started that too.

Do every issue where they are most vulnerable, trump either started or allowed.

The myth that "Palestinians" (whatever that means) are victims of Hamas; that they're innocents, held captive by a terrorist faction is absolute twaddle.

This is another example as to why the media and the "Press" are different and the Media does not deserve 2nd Am protection. The govt use them to spread disinformation.

Cuomo went on to express frustration over the misinformation surrounding ivermectin and the failure to provide accurate information to the public. He criticized government officials for stifling open dialogue.

“We were given bad information about Ivermectin. The real question is, why? Everyone’s going to say, ‘Joe Rogan was right.’ But that’s not what matters. What matters is the entire clinical community knew that Ivermectin couldn’t hurt you. They knew it. I know they knew it. How do I know? Because now I’m doing nothing but talking to these clinicians who, at the time, were overwhelmed by COVID, and they weren’t saying anything. Not that they were hiding anything, but it’s cheap, it’s not owned by anybody, and it’s used as an anti-microbial, antiviral in all of these different ways. It has been for a long time.”

Ironically, Cuomo was one of those spreading misinformation about Ivermectin during the pandemic.

Devils advocate on inflation though, while Trump (and Congress) lit a fire, the unnecessary subsequent spending bills Biden signed were unprecedented gasoline thrown on the fire. The economy was set to recover once the government got out of the way, and the democrats decided to continue multi trillion dollar deficits.

Edit: and these campus Gaza rallies give Trump a talking point on the BLM riots.

Covid shot policy and lockdowns are unforgivable.

How about their anti-semitic actions denying Jewish Students access to the Campus facilities and in some instances attacking them, be labeled a hate crime. It's one thing to stand their and preach anti-semitic rhetoric, It's awful, but lawful under the 1A. However when they turn those words into actions, that's where you cross the line into illegality and denying people their civil rights. That's a hate crime.
Nowhere were Jewish students singled out.

I agree. Trump started inflation but Biden and Co threw gas on it. That's a tricky point that this version of trump will struggle to make and one the pea brain average voter can't comprehend. Imo much cleaner to just have a different voice that could go full bore on the issue.

The Palestine stuff should make a difference but Jews religiously vote dem. If they havent left that party by now, I wonder if they ever will. Anyone else on the issue probably already had their opinion one way or the other. Jmo.

I think his best bet is just to say his 4 years were better than the last 4 and hope pea brain voters forget he was the beginning of the mishandling of covid.

For sure.

With the little Gazas, I just think he has the opportunity to tie them to BLM riots if anyone criticized him for the unrest during his tenure. Just point out it’s the same people from occupy Wall Street, who burned cities when George Floyd overdosed, who are now rioting on campuses. Say it’s important to hold the organizations funding the discontent accountable.

As you note, I don’t think he’ll actually take these positions. Just throwing out what I think he needs to say to best insulate himself from past mistakes.

That would be a great plan of attack and would resonate. Let's hope he does it.
