A new House GOP bill led by Rep. Andy Ogles would send protesters convicted of illegal activity on college campuses to Gaza for at least six months.

So sick of excusing blatant betrayal as "uninspiring" or "stupid" or "ignorant." We need people in office that will call it what it is. Johnson has sold out conservatives AND constitutional moderates. Someone bought this guy and did so well before they put him in the position.
I tend to think he is being blackmailed, but either way, the guy has no spine and is simply another parasite in the DC swamp.
I think that's the whole point of this weekly report he puts out. All of those little wasteful expenditures for nonsense that benefits noone eventually add up to a crapton of wasteful nonsense.

Yeah, not smart to point that out. it could have been stated more diplomatically, such as "I will assemble a task force (i.e. Seal team six) to tackle the problems of drug Cartels pushing dangerous drugs across our Borders" (i.e. clandestine missions to kill Cartel Leaders)

i’ve heard more than one conservative speak out against mtg and her efforts to oust the speaker. admittedly it comes at a bad time when the pubs should be focused on getting trump elected, but should johnson be given free reign to continue to bend a knee to the democrats?
i get the feeling that there are very few true hard line republicans in our governing body. i wish republicans had the resolve to stick together like the dems.
Sambo I’ve had to read thru some of your posts about taxes. Sambo I’ve asked you nicely a few times to sit this one out but you refuse to in other posts. When it comes to taxes and especially litigation via vs IRS this is something we do everyday and it’s a damn nightmare for most, I would estimate 99%. Your understanding in tax litigation goes way beyond just going to federal court and then it’s over, it’s not. This lingers for years, it’s like a slow death for businesses and personal tax records individuals so I’ll ask again sit this one out 🍺

when i used to watch fox news i always thought juan was playing a part like devil’s advocate or good cop/bad cop. i’m not sure he’s exactly what he seems.
Not saying you are wrong...but please enlighten me as to why someone who has followed the law and filed their taxes properly ends up in federal court years after the IRS audits them.
Was it your mistake as the tax preparer or lawyer? Did they lie or cheat on their taxes?
Did they make an honest mistake that can't be corrected?
I had a friend get audited and it just required a simple resubmission of better records/ forms and an amended tax form.
Really not being a smart azz. Just not seeing why it takes years to resolve an issue on your taxes if you are filing properly with proper documentation.

I can't knock GED; I became a teenage father @ seventeen, got a cheap ass job only to see it was going nowhere. Got a GED, hired into one of the best manufactory companies in Louisville at the time at age 18. Went to tech school and from the eighties until I retired in 2006 at the age of fifty, I earned an average every year in the mid five to low six figures. So, it can be done and I'm living proof coming from a family of nothing to quickly being the black sheep because I was succeeding. Worked my ass off getting there but I did it. BTW, still married to the same sweetheart I fell in love with, very proud of that. 50 plus years
