I clearly said LOCATION. I am familiar with the area. St. Matthews has most recently hit the jackpot. They are fortunate to be in that LOCATION. Unique because that house would be worth half that in most of the county.
Half?? šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ You gotta be kidding. You obviously know nothing about the Louisville area real estate market. Anything that is halfway decent STARTS out around 300k.
Little starter homes in Bullitt County are 220K plus for a 3 BR box.
JTown...

German Town....

Downtown....

A Box in Bullitt...

Maybe you should read your links. Look at the average price of the homes in the area. Both in GermantownSchnitzelburg show low $200k average home costs.

Just look at the renovations that went into those houses to get them to those asking prices....they will not get. 9 days on market. Please get back with links to tje price reductions. I can see 50k and more in renovations. Just the bathroom alone likely cost 20K to update. The kitchens, new cabinets can run 1500 a foot. So ask 300+ doesn't mean receive, especially in those two crappy germantown locations. JTown is 1989. Already like 150K new.

Yea what do I know, just living in Lou my entire life. I am quite aware of J-Town. I am also aware that we are specifically talking about homes built in the 70s. You and I both can cherry pick houses all day. I live in Anchorage and know that there are similar houses her that beat the snot out of St. Matthew's. I also am quite flush with rental properties, most commercial, but res also. So you are barking up the wrong tree cuh.

I shot roo low at 50% but $250kish.

You can't get into anything above a starter home in a decent area of Jefferson, Bullitt or Oldham counties for less than 300k period. Most of the nicer homes are going for 400k plus.
Now if you move to a dumpier area, look at a house in disrepair or a very basic older starter home...then you might be talking 200k to 250k. Anything much less than that is gonna be a dump.
If it's nice, newer or in a desirable area of town....300k is the starting point. You can't even get into a 60 year old house in St Matthews for less than 400k unless it's a total dump.

It may very well have been an accident. But to announce in less than a day that it was an accident? I agree that this government is so untrustworthy that itā€™s impossible to accept such a proclamation at face value.
They dont know who put the pipe bombs down on Jan 6 years after it happened. But they knew for a fact one day after the bridge fell it wasnt an act of terrorism. Amazing really.

As I said, St. Matthews is a special case. It is the new Highlands. I drive thru there going to Trinity for games and whatnot. When I see a for sale I often find the listing to amaze myself at the prices there by Bowman Field etc... toward St. M. Crazy. Its like we woke up one day and all those house prices exploded. Now the Highlands is falling apart. Its a cycle.

I grew up in Hurstbourne and its funny watching a neighborhoods life cycle. All that said, buyer expectations of 2020s technology in a 1970s or 80s era floor plan means huge renovation costs....and that currently is out of control. Tear out walls. Open floor plan. A chefs kitchen. Huge closets. Amazing baths. And its Primary not Master Suite so you guys dont get offended..... It costs a ton to renovate to sell OR those deficiencies get used against you

What ever happened to the Las Vegas shooter, the Christmas bombing that took out the whole block including a information storage facility in Nashville?

BBC TV show "Garden Secrets" was censored by North Korean authorities on their airwaves in an attempt to prevent the influence of U.S. imperialism in the communist country.
The gardening show, starring 74-year-old Alan Titchmarsh, received a pixelated overlay [of Titchmarsh's jeans] during a recent episode set in the gardens of the 17th-century Hatfield House in Hertfordshire, England.

You may not be aware of it, but opposition to denim jeans is one of the most time-honored of all communist traditions, so much so that Levi Strauss even acknowledges it in their official history:

Jeans were considered a token of capitalism and jeans-wearers were enemies of the state. To protect youth from outside dress influences, the SUP tried introducing a socialist clothing culture. Schools forbid blue jeans and any student wearing them was sent home. Even dance halls forbid blue jeans.

He created this disaster of a Supreme Court that led to children being forced to have their rapist's babies.
Trump's Merica....

All he did was appoint. The senate confirms. šŸ™„

And, he didn't create the SCOTUS. He had a hand in 3 of 9.

Village Idiot.

Too far away, too expensive. I guess it should be free and have a pick up service.

That, to a Village Idiot, is forced to have a baby.

Thought you didn't lie? You literally claimed it today. You lie more than anyone here.

Hell, you lie more than your hero, Biden.

All the workers were illegal immigrants, itā€™s not because they do jobs no one else wants as the article states. A highway job is a damn good job and coveted. Itā€™s because the contractor can underbid everyone. Itā€™s exactly why the Dems and the elites donā€™t give a damn if millions of illegals enter the country, theyā€™ve sold us out to a lower cost labor pool.
I presume the workers' company was being paid under a government contract in a very blue state. Net, I'd think the workers would have to be receiving "prevailing" wage & possibly have to be union members. This could possibly still be less than American workers would be receiving, but hard for me to see it was much less, if any.

Maybe Trump should send his Bible selling profits to those kids instead of into his own bank account.

Mark 10:25

"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.ā€
I gotta better idea. Hunter should donate half the "consultation fees" received from foreign actors to those kids.

Maybe he would if you lunatic fascists werenā€™t hellbent on bankrupting him via bullshit lawfare.

I like the 4D chess loophole Trump created in campaign finance laws where he can just create a company and (eventually) sell shares for hundreds of millions of dollars. Billions if itā€™s looking like heā€™s going to win election after his lockup terms.

While shady, I find it much more honorable to sell shares directly in yourself than the way the legislators like Pelosi do it by buying companies and then corruptly shaping policy to benefit their holdings.

This is kind of starting to piss me off. I don't mind the womens game, and I think there's some positive things about it, unlike the mens (multi-year players, for instance).

But god damn, stop forcing it on us. If people want to watch it, they will watch it. The next step here.. because men will just only go out for the mens "day", will be to add the womens games in between. Instead of Thursday having 16 mens games, it will be 8 and 8. Instead of buying one "session" of men;s tickets, you're going to be forced to buy a ticket for the womens games as thats who will be game #2.

Again, practically that supposed difference is immaterial. The government is still the one doing all this enforcing. You are just exactly as screwed if the government chooses to violate your "natural" rights and throw you in a gluag as ones that derive from the Constitution.

It's called following the law dude.
Don't break the law, don't incite riots, don't pay porn stars hush money, don't lie on your loan forms and don't create fake electors and you don't have to lose money.
But you right wing fascists don't believe in following the law or honoring election results you don't like anymore do you?
Have you bought your Bible and gold Chucks from the Con artist yet??? šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

I just shake my head at articles like this which has been happening more and more. How is it possible and how do the authorities escape any legal ramifications when they brazenly violate federal law (and common sense) with this 'sanctuary' nonsense? Baldly stating that 'we're not going to enforce federal law and will set hardened violent criminals free' just to follow some dangerous political strategy should surely result in many city officials being perp walked in handcuffs. Are they not blatantly violating federal law? Why aren't there mass prosecutions? It wouldn't take more than just a few cities to see most of their elected officials put into federal prison before the other sanctuary cities would get the message and, perhaps, start upholding federal law.
