You don't care what's actually true. Do your own research and prove me wrong.
They love Bandera because he is seen as a freedom fighter against Russia and Poland. That is what they are celebrating. I swear, you'd twist anything.

That's not twisting anything.

And I'm not going to redux the war thread with you here. No European nation afflicted with fascism honors their "Bandera."

I clearly have been talking about The Ukraine, not the old USSR or by Germans. We have people who are angrier at the Ukraine than they are Germany. GERMANY is where the Nazis came from. Lets bomb them.
The cultists here love to conflate the two as if one. It's a big part of their agenda.

They aren't afflicted with fascism. Russia is though. You always run away from the corners you put yourself in. Go on, run away, you're good at it.

History always repeats itself. I guess because there are only so many things people can do to other people. I remember times that were a lot like the times we are having right now. Carter was President. Russia was being a dick. Inflation was high. Gas was high. We had even seen wages and prices frozen by the Feds.

What fixed all that and led to a prosperous time for all? Reagen is the obvious answer, but what did he do? Started cutting back on government agencies and their drain on the bank account. Cut spending in other areas and LOWERED TAXES. Yes, the same things that have routinely pulled this country out of a hole the dems dug for all of us.

It's not voodoo economics if it has proved to work time after time. Voodoo economics would be what has led us to where we are now. We cannot fix a border crisis by allowing more people to cross the border. We cannot tax ourselves into prosperity. We need to fight the fire with water for a while until we get it under control. Then we can fight fire with fire again.

No they do not, they absolutely do not have what they set out for and if they didn‘t employ human wave attacks due to their blatant disregard for human life, their very minimal gains would be nonexistent.
Yes they do, before the invasion they stated their goal whether you agree with their reasons or not. It was to “ liberate” the Eastern portion of Ukraine that had separated. They now are in control of those areas.
Russia reiterated that they were going to fight until all of Luhansk and Donbas were in their hands and that’s exactly what they’re doing now.

That's all in your head.

And I was talking about 20th century fascism, both Ukraine and Russia today are completely corrupt autocratic oligarchies.

I don't understand his absolutism. Yes, there a handful of Nazis in Ukraine. There are here too. And more than a handful in Russia. Probably more in the Russia military itself than in the entirety of Ukraine. But somehow Ukraine, and only Ukraine = bad Nazi. And the entirety of Ukraine gets painted with that brush, including the president Zelensky who is Jewish, lost family in the Holocaust, and whose grandfather and great uncles all fought those selfsame Nazis and collaborators in the Red Army.

No.

You are equating the two just to obfuscate. You know it isn't true; they have a significant and consequential neo-Nazi problem.

mail in ballots without signatures, no id's, people allowed to "assist" in voting, people allowed to "gather" up ballots and turn them in in bulk. You know very good and well what I'm talking about.
No signatures. No count, but my county (ran almost completely by the GQP) will contact you and attempt to get one. Id's are the law in KY. I always have to show mine when voting in person. Mail-in has voter registration and drivers license data available to county officials already. The assistance in voting itself is likely asking folks in the know what they know about a candidate. For example, I have a friend who knows the candidates in my county better than me. So I ask questions prior to voting. If it's corrupt, prove it! Once a ballot is sealed, we have to trust our postal service I'd say. KY has paper ballots. Tough to blame companies like Dominion here. Perhaps those crying the most are not the best candidate for the majority of people. Yet only Qooks are crying when they lose. Weird huh?

They exist but they have next to no power politically. If the sentiments were widespread in the population they'd have at least a fraction of power in their Parliament but they don't. Surveys have even shown significantly less antisemitic feelings in Ukraine as a whole when compared to other Eastern European countries owing to their long cultural history there.

Every state isnt like that though. We really should have national voting standards including id and very few mail in ballots.

Surveys are easily manipulated. They had 10% of the parliament, as much as 40% of the vote in some oblasks at their peak in 2012.

They are not fringe.

Sure, they don't hold but 2% of parliament now, but that's not because the Nazi-lite sentiment just up and vanished in the air.

I don't know, but I know they have control of the area they were after from the start. You missed the point though, Ukraine is not going to drive them out without US or European troops involved.

You think 31 Abrams tanks are going to do the trick? Don't you see whats happening here, or do you just not care? We're fast approaching the point of no return, is Ukraine worth thousands of dead young US soldiers? This won't be like Iraq or Afghanistan, Russia has a modern military. This is a losing proposition we've gotten into.
Russia has a modern military? That's news to the rest of the world

Three reasons why we want to keep our governor four more years. He is doing something for the state every day.

I like the idea of a life sentence if you target children with fentanyl . And a 1 million dollar fine. Tough laws for a tough crime.

Life sentence minimum? Or life sentence max? I'm all for the death penalty when people purposefully do things they know may take a life. Not saying you disagree, I just want to stop paying for violent offenders for life.

National elections should have national standards. Motive to cheat will always exist. We must remove the opportunity. It is more important for the people who do vote to have a fair election that demonstrates the will of the people, than it is for each and every individual to vote. If it is important enough to someone, they will find a way to vote.

No dem cares about an individual vote. They care about being able to scan voter rolls after the polls close and fill in some blanks. They care about being able to find a couple boxes of votes in the trunk of a car a week after the polls have closed. This is the reason they want voting to have few if any rules.

So what? The German public sided with Hitler. Lets bomb them or let Putin take them over. Good lord, This is not the 1940's.

.... so did a large number of the French, a fair amount of the English, and quite a few here in the USA and South America as well. That has nothing to do with the current level of fascism and intolerance in today's Ukraine, which IS the point being made.

Why are you being thick about this one thing?

Why are we getting involved in Ukraine to an absolutely huge level, when we have abstained from getting involved in so many conflicts like it before? If we can't ask this one question, consider the recent and ongoing history, and follow it through to a logical conclusion, what are we really doing? This is just another Vietnam except we're forcing a global war and damaging all credibility in the process.

Ukraine has been shelling their own people for over 7 years. The people they are bombing want to return to Russian rule. WTF would we want to help stop them? "OH, because an actor, a couple oligarchs, and a bunch of national socialist party loyalists want to kill people and launder money for politicians and munitions manufacturers in the US," DOESN'T sound ethical nor does it sound like our constitutional mandate AT ALL.

All of this hand-wringing about UKRAINE by the LEFT is because of the effed up pull-out of Afghanistan, and the complete snow-job the media has put on most of this country. If the LEFT WASNT SO CATASTROPHICALLY BAD at running ANYTHING that isn't propped up by government over-reach and overspending, they could end it that whole conflict with ONE phone call.

But EVERYONE HERE knows that's not what the left wants, no matter how much they say otherwise.

If they REALLY wanted to end all loss of life in Ukraine, and prevent the spread of this conflict, they'd tell NATO to stop fking around where they've agreed not to fk around. Tell NATO to pull out, tell Ukraine to let those who want to secede secede, and tell Russia that if that doesn't end the conflict that we will start bombing the shite out of them and their troops. It would be over tomorrow.

Can't make and launder money, or keep human trafficking going if they do that, though, so it won't happen. Can't distract from the utter failure of the covic lockdowns and pokes.
