Unfortunately we are living at a time of transition between fossil fuels and sustainable energy. Both fuel sources are necessary and one is not inherently better than the other.....but cheap oil will run out one day in the not too distant future. It is also bad for our climate. The oil companies know all this better than anyone but are making as much money as possible for as long as they can in the meantime.
