Having been in the AF since 89, ive met and known a lot of folks. Was able to confirm this weekend what i suspected for a while. If i drop off for a while, put out an APB. They can kiss my a$$ets.Don’t think that shit won’t happen here.
Says the dude in a cult.Holy shit you really are a lunatic
Next week the corporate media headlines will be how recessions are good for us.
Nut job.My vote goes to Eric Greitens. A real American.
Yea. enlistees is generic. We had 2 West Point grads in my hs. We had an Army Special Forces, a Marine that was decorated and several airborne members... and we were just a normal KY hs. Some places may send people to the motor pool or to be a mechanic but I bet that KY pulls a little higher in infantry participation.Average number of enlistees seems like a flawed measure. Everything else is per capita or a percentage.
Anyway, I’m sure you could one or two measures of “patriotism” and add one or two more and get completely different results.
Yea, right. That is exactly what a lib will say! You're not a liberal, you just lean left on every single issue to the point of ignorant insanity.I'm not a liberal.
Inflation is taxation. It's just hidden so you don't blame the politicians. They know you wouldn't go for 65% tax rates but if they devalue your money and tax at a rate that means you lose 65% of a your purchasing power for the amount of work you did.... samesies. Here are the options. The Fed destroys 5% of the economy and we have unemployment around 6%-7%. They are basically saying that's what's going to happen if you listen. Or we could be taxed 5% and the economy slows down much more evenly and people keep their jobs. Interest rates are using an ax to cut inflation. Taxation is using a scalpel.
He also told them they would pay for their decisions.... They aren't elected.... So how would they pay In Schumer's plan there? They can't be removed or voted out. That sounded like he was saying people would constantly show up to their house and work and make life for them terrible and he wouldn't allow the government to do anything about it.That’s almost as bad as Schumer telling Kavanaugh and Gorsuch they won’t know what hit them. No big deal though. The nutcase lib that was planning to kill Kavanaugh and his family got caught in his neighborhood before he could get it done.
Wait a minute... Is that the guy the democrat DA in ST Louis filed those charges against right before the election and they all ended up being made up? Is that the same guy? That DA also was going to frame the McCluskey's in St Louis. The wife had a handgun without a functioning firing pin and the DA ordered the police to fix it and then she filed charges. Luckily someone in the police dept leaked that bit of info and charges were later dropped though they didn't get their property back for not committing a crime....That woman...
I love it when you post stuff that proves the exact opposite of what you think it does. LOL.
And 90% are staying in America for the rest of their lives. They aren't even deporting criminals at this point. You do understand these are only the ones being caught, right?
I agree with the caveat that it seems that tons of people in our government actually hate our constitution and want to take us down a peg or 2. There is a famous quote about being able to survive enemies from outside but it's impossible to survive deliberate attacks by people on the inside of the government. It's a strenuous time for our country. But we've been through worse in my mind. Feels that the extreme on each side is being amplified by the media. Most of the people I meet regardless of political preference get along fine. Honestly this time period feels a whole hell of a lot like the 70's. Between inflation, a Nixon like presidency and a Carter like presidency now as well, the Gas crisis of the 70's, wars being waged. I'm a believer of peaks and valley's in life and I feel right now we're in a valley. Like we've been in before and like we'll be in again.
I was just a lad in the 70's but I'm sure many felt that way after Watergate and the Carter presidency. I don't really buy into the voter fraud, I know that's probably unpopular here, but I believe people will vote for what they believe in. If that happens to be something I disagree with then so be it. I would be very surprised if this time next year republicans don't have the house and the senate.I agree with the caveat that it seems that tons of people in our government actually hate our constitution and want to take us down a peg or 2. Not talking about voter fraud. You look at the trade deals our country signs and it's hard to argue our politicians are putting us 1st. You don't have to like him but Trump did renegotiate trade deals and cancel TPP. TPP had a clause in it that certain Asian countries could sue US co's in their countries and the US government would back their decisions without defending the US co's. Stuff like that is just obvious that it's a payoff.I was just a lad in the 70's but I'm sure many felt that way after Watergate and the Carter presidency. I don't mind either one being in office. I mind extremist on both ends being in office. Whether that be people who believe their state should secede or that be people who believe communism is awesome. I feel that the majority of people feel this way too. But everything on the news is so much about ratings and clicks that people go for "shocking" stories and amplify each extremist viewpoint. Most republicans I know don't believe in authoritarianism and most democrats I know don't believe in communism. When you turn the news off and just speak with one another, most realize they have a lot more in common than they originally thought.
We're in a time where our adversaries wants us to be as divided as possible. And it seems like we are if you watch the news all day, but I don't feel like we're as divided as we were say during the civil rights/Vietnam era. Not even close.
I don’t entirely disagree. Actually didn’t mind Trump. Obviously his rhetoric could’ve been better, especially with allies in my opinion. But overall think he did a good job on certain issues and bad on others. Don’t think he was the worst president nor the best. Really would say he was Nixon-like. Biden feels Carter-like.Not talking about voter fraud. You look at the trade deals our country signs and it's hard to argue our politicians are putting us 1st. 1st amendment, 2nd amendment, 4th amendment rights all being trampled... People even thought we'd never have to worry about the 3rd amendment but yet our government banned evictions. That kills private property rights and the 3rd amendment in one fail swoop.
If you don't believe in the slippery slope then you aren't paying attention. Every slope the last 20 years has proven to be slippery. No way that they will stop being slippery going forward.
While history does have a lot of facts it also has a lot of story telling as well. Stories are always told to highlight certain spects and other aspects are forgotten. So the story of history does not always contain all the facts or in many cases align with the facts.
Did you ever wonder why after middle school your basic idea of the United States was that our country is the agent of all that's good in the world and our military is extremely powerful and the only source of our freedom? That's because good little boys and girls need to be willing to sign their lives over at 18 so that the politicians controlling our country have someone to fight for their geopolitical interests. The last time the US Military fought for anyone's freedom was World War II. Since then they have only fought to maintain geopolitical order and thus keep the economy humming. While you can argue that this is also worthwhile, it's not the image we present to recruits and the public.
The cost of gas goes up = transition to renewables/electric cars is more palatable. The cost of everything goes up = transition to higher taxes and socialism is more palatable. The liberal silver lining.Inflation is taxation. It's just hidden so you don't blame the politicians. Let’s swing the pendulum past center and have it land on racism for the claimed purpose of defeating racism. A country that encourages racist speech does not sound like a country committed to minimizing racist speech.
Wow....never heard that. Must have missed it. DA should be prosecuted for that. The wife had a handgun without a functioning firing pin and the DA ordered the police to fix it and then she filed charges. Luckily someone in the police dept leaked that bit of info
Don't forget all the aunts, uncles, moms, dads, etc that will now be able to follow them. And 90% are staying in America for the rest of their lives. They aren't even deporting criminals at this point.
They are really screwed up or should I say them people are screwed up. I’m so confrused.
Ummmm...the hell it ain't. It's called defending our country.
YOUR' NoT a PaTrIoT!!1! 🎄Question! Why does this even matter?
