Average number of enlistees seems like a flawed measure. Everything else is per capita or a percentage.

It’s average # of listees per 1,000 adults. That’s literally a per capita measure.

C'mon Marley....just a little good natured ribbing. Some of my own family and friends are "bozos" but they are my bozos. I don't think all Trump supporters are really bozos, racists or in a cult. Some are...but the majority of the Trump supporters I know personally liked him more for his policies than anything. They think he's a terrible human being, don't believe the election BS and know he's FOS but also just can't bring themselves to vote Democrat.
I also personally know of at least one major elected Republican in this state that wrote in Pence's name because of the reasons I mentioned above. I'm friends with a hell of a lot more Republicans than you'd guess. We have great debates and agree to disagree. We also have a lot more in common outside politics that keep us tight.
We also agree most times on taxes, crime, police, welfare reform and the importance of the military.

That first one was really something; just out of nowhere he short circuits into a story he tells about being in the foothills of the Himalayas.

Every time new info comes out it's worse.
The civic portion of the analysis gets triple the weighting of the military portion. The location of large US bases is going to determine which states get a higher military score (Texas, Hawaii, Georgia, Virginia, South Carolina, etc. have major bases). Also I don't necessarily think joining the peace corps or americorps makes one patriotic. Veteran population % is worth 3.5 points whereas % of population who voted in the last presidential election and grand jury participation are worth 16.6 points each. It just seems a little flawed IMO.
