I just don't see how they could arrest and taze parents while that is going on. Like... I can't even imagine a path of thinking were that is what a cop does when kids are getting shot in a school.

I said it earlier today…. Some of these cops should probably turn in their gun and their badge. Frankly the commanders / supervisors on scene and behind the scenes should be held accountable as well.

He did not go in by himself. It was a border patrol tactical response force. From video looked like 5 or 6 of them. They finally breached and killed the shooter 30 minutes after he had shot everyone in the room.
The timeline of events is rapidly changing as the media gets real info from witnesses and not the bullshit the police were stating yesterday. The school officer and responding officers failed miserably. The shooter entered the school 10 minutes after he arrived. He had already fired multiple shots across the street at a funeral home. When he went into the school the responding officers finally engaged him and chased him into the classroom. They couldn't open the door and one got hit so they withdrew. After that he shot up the room of kids. There doesn't seem to be any info on where the school officer was during all this.

This isn’t towards you, but phuck that. It was bad enough watching police stand down in insert big city, liberal state here during 2020…. But to have an active shooter in an elementary school of all places and do nothing? Something ain’t right here and part of it is having a police force that will hide behind orders rather than doing what needs to be done.
Assuming what we heard was true, God bless the one agent that ran in. He’s a hero. If they were told to stand down and he went in anyway, he’s even more of a hero than I initially thought.

Listened to local radio, KLBJ, this afternoon regarding press conference by TX Department of Public Safety (DPS) or TX version of KSP. They said presser "went off the rails" because outrage by angry parents and curious reporters. Answers are highly contradictory so far. We're talking over 48 hours after the incident. No one can yet provide a straight answer on timelines and existing security measures.
So far from what I gathered, and this could all be bs misinformation…
- the kid was troubled
- the school new he threatened students
- he told video game players he was going to shoot up a school. One player contacted the FBI and gave recording of him saying this.
- he texted a girl that he just killed his grandma, and was going to shoot up a school. She contacted authorities
- then whatever police did or did not do during the attack
But it’s a guns fault all this happened?
All these incidents more or less end up the same way.
4chan is already starting to crack the code. Apparently sandman was a guy he met on 4chan who is a retired US army/marine infantryman who enjoys guns. Apparently a guy sent the twitch video to one person who then immedialty uploaded it to the internet and on 4chan. This was orchestrated.
If the police waited for more than a few seconds before entering Texas elementary school, they should be charged with cowardice and fired.
Shooting outside for 12 minutes and the school didn’t have the good sense to go into lockdown mode? Just heartbreaking that this could have been prevented.
