We totally agree on that. If you have a batshit crazy teen in your home.... You have the responsibility to secure that weapon from the whacko.I think the age to drink alcohol, own a gun, vote, and be drafted into the military should all be the same. If you possess a gun under that age, the owner is presumed to be your guardian or is otherwise identified. That owner is criminally responsible for actions committed with that gun by the underage person.
Never thought I’d live to see the day when the USA would need to depend on relief flights from foreign nations for supplies of basic needs.

At least you admit you hate the constitution. Now move to a country that has rules that fit your feminine sensiblities.
Black families were better off in the 50's than today. You need to look at both the positive and negative of an era.Outside rampant discrimination and lack of AC, pretty much so.
It exist but it isn't rampant. Jussie Smolliet didnt' fake a hate crime for no reason. The demand for racism wayyyyy outweighs the supply. I saw black friends in HS suffer some pretty sad shit. That being said.... We laughed it off because we realized they were dumb racist. I faked dating a couple girls in hS so they could go out with my black friends.Serious question but how is what he said divisive?
I say this as a person who lived half their childhood in a biracial household. Step-mom was black and on multiple occasions saw racism first hand.
Just standing in line with my mom waiting for groceries to be scanned, father was still shopping and the cashier didn't scan our groceries until 5 min later when my dad showed up.
Went to a hs that was 99% black/Hispanic with a golf course across the street. Said course was never full so our coach asked if we could play over there they said no. Somehow an all white team from 45 min away was allowed to practice and even with them there there's still plenty of room.
6th grade, after leaving the theater my step sister got into a car wreck, my cousin and I were in the back seat. We were hit from behind and the driver just sped away. Cops came, we told them this story and they put my sister through through a battery of tests to see if she was drunk. It took her dad, a cop, driving over for them to stop running tests.
All of this was in Texas from 1998 to 2004.
Just pointing put that racism exists. Pointing it out is by no means divisive, rather it's informative. It gives people who typically don't see racism in their daily lives an idea of what those who face racism go through.
Russia was communist in the 80's and was actually the USSR. It honestly isn't even the same thing if you look at it philosophically.Dude, you are nuts. He’s supporting whoever is fighting Russia-the same Russia you wouldn’t have dared not to oppose in the 80s. Newsflash: the head of Russia was in the KGB in the 80s and wants all of the old USSR back together. Like, they’re the bad guys. Drink some New Coke and watch “Stranger Things.”
Plat is factually incorrect here-the term “the right of the people” is mentioned in two other amendments. It always refers to individual rights. Secondly, the term, “militia” in 1787 loosely referred to non-professional soldiers. It was only in the late 20th century that it began to refer to state soldiers, like those that comprise the national guard. And why the heck would there need to be an amendment granting the right to bear arms to a standing army?
Besides, Heller established an individual right to keep and bear arms, so you’re really not right on any point. You have no leverage, no argument, and no point. The freakin’ Founding Fathers stated why they put it in there; why are you acting like they didn’t put it in there for the exact reason you are dismissing?
BUT we sure as heck can pressure politicians to pass universal background checks, red flag laws, and other laws that restrict gun ownership and access in very specific situations.
The article is referring to the Surgeon General Vivek Murthy.
What Smolliet did was messed up and a middle finger to those that actually face racism, hardships, etc. Just think if we've both witnessed it then you can extrapolate from there and realize it impacts people everyday, most of which won't be reported as it's just part of life but that shouldn't be the case as it shouldn't be a thing. It exist but it isn't rampant. Obviously the fact that I had to do that shows that racism exist but the fact I did what I did and nobody in school ratterd out the girl shows that it isn't the problem that people think.
OK. so you want a race war.. cool. You rea\lize that race relations have gone to a worse direction the last 8 years right? What Smolliet did was messed up and a middle finger to those that actually face racism, hardships, etc. Just think if we've both witnessed it then you can extrapolate from there and realize it impacts people everyday, most of which won't be reported as it's just part of life but that shouldn't be the case as it shouldn't be a thing.
You're right in laughing it off, that's what we did in Texas. Humor is a good way to fight those who wish to demean others but one can argue its also a way to move the problem out of sight and out of mind.
I guess when you get down to it it's just part of American culture. Basically if you're not a WASP you or your ancestors have faced some sort of bigotry in this country.
Edit: Glad you responded civilly. I bring this up to my family in KY and it's a different story.
Also should add... You might want to leave the country. You clearly hate it here. I am totally cool with you going to any place in the world that you feel safe.

I probably be should take back what I said about being civil. I never said anything about a race war. I said you were correct in laughing it off. I said JS was wrong. Also should add... You might want to leave the country. You clearly hate it here. I am totally cool with you going to any place in the world that you feel safe.

Agree with that but sadly that's how they get clicks. You see that in "journalism" nowadays.Theni
1) t's a horribly written headline or

Lmao holy crap
I mean ANTIFA is white as snow.
Good thread that actually looks for answers.
The liberals’ re-racialization of America has set us back decades and encourages weak minds to be racist. Meanwhile, those orchestrating the division are getting rich. The motivations are multiple, but $$$ is usually key.OK. so you want a race war.. cool. You rea\lize that race relations have gone to a worse direction the last 8 years right?
It’s not as if “Surg. Gen.” would not fit in the place of “the nation’s doctor.”Theni

Air Quotes AOC. 😆
Yes Biden is a catholic against abortion. But his constituency that made him president is pro choice so he going to support them. Just like Trump is pro choice but pretended to be pro life to support his voters.
I'm amused by it too. Like all of their shit, it's double-speak and contradictory or conflicting.
Aw yes, Obama. The guy who took the moment of a memorial service for dead cops killed by a black supremacist to lecture them. What a race hustling POS he is. What a cancer he has been to this country.🖕🏻 this pos 😡
Texas school shooting: Obama clobbered for linking Uvalde massacre to two-year mark of George Floyd's murder
Former President Barack Obama was panned by critics for linking this week's tragedy in Uvalde, Texas, to the unrest that stemmed from George Floyd's murder in 2020.www.foxnews.com
If this is true, those “policemen” should turn in their guns and badges NOW. They might as well been sitting in the donut shop.
Kind of how Parkland went down too and within 24 hours, the DNC had already assembled the little Parkland celebs like David Hogg. There are so many details about this shooting that make no sense. So many missteps that it’s baffling when you sit and think about it.
