To this day I am still confused as to why nobody has been thrown in jail. There is undeniable proof that Comey and others intentionally LIED to a FISA judge in order to obtain a spurious warrant.

Your point is valid if it we were not in the current crisis. Given the existing state of affairs, our country does need monopoly money and a lot if it, otherwise, the hole will not be repairable. Besides, the current debt situation is essentially irrelevant given what we are facing. Adding on to it now isn't going to push the needle to a worse point but people need to eat....need gas...etc.

Once we get back to a manageable level, we can then proceed to worry about the big numbers, but that probably won't happen until after the midterms...hopefully.

You should read up on the great depression. Everything they are talking about doing now is what caused a recession to turn into the great depression. Increase spending, taxes, raise wages and set maximum wages and set price controls. Every single one of those things they thought were a fix just made things worse. All over the world people tried it and it just kept getting worse and worse everywhere.

So, this current administration has essentially done the exact opposite of everything this guy spoke about, and, as result, have turned what could have been a rough year but then recovery, into the worst economic downturn in almost 100 years. LOL

And they haven't dicked around either. They've managed to run the ship aground in SEVENTEEN MONTHS!

It is truly breathtaking; the alacrity with which they've managed to complety fvck EVERYTHING up.

Our only solace is that the dollar is surging in value compared to other currencies. But that's primarily because the USA right now is the equivalent of the least ugly girl in a beauty pageant. There's no good place anywhere in the world to invest right now, and the USA after raising interest rates is one of the few places in the world where you can at least get a return on your money. Will help over the long term with helping to stamp out inflation, since imported goods should become cheaper.
