Not a fan of Sam’s take here. People will continue to keep and bear arms, regardless of whether or not shootings happen. It’s not going to go away. It might be more productive to talk about keeping guns out of the hands of crazy people. In my mind, each level of weaponry should a more thorough background/mental health check than the last. Schizophrenic? Good luck owning anything other than a taser. Belong to any type of organization that is associated with promoting violence? Basic handgun. Of course, debate can be had, but the idiots on the far left that continue to taunt gun owners who want as few restrictions on gun ownership as possible just don’t get why people want that amendment untouched.
