Covid was the first time they openly outed themselves as government propaganda agents. Guess they figure no need in hiding it further.

Over the years here I laid out how Twitter's income on the books doesn't add up and the near certainty it's backed by one or more (likely 3) nation states as a propaganda machine. I also outlined some of that in the Twitter thread.

As they entering the due diligence phase, we already know musk learned as many as 50% of Twitter accounts are fake/bots. The interesting part will be what happens next and what more he will learn/share.
Billionaires run this country so there's virtually no way Musk buys Twitter at $54 a share. Even though this was the price that HE offered, he'll walk away if it's not reduced much much lower.

Nor should he now that he has hard proof that a large percentage of "users" are actually just bots. Their material representation to him was 5%. Whether one thinks it's 50% or 20%; it's way more than 5% and they knew it.

The price gouging bill is everything wrong with politics. It was already illegal so every second spent on this was a grandstanding waste of resources
Plus...this is/was not 'price gauging' as we've seen before. Like how gas would jump overnight at certain stations, not all, when Iraq happened or 9/11,
This has been a slow (well, not that slow) steady rise in price over months.

The reason why you should not have any faith things will get better is because this Administration is offering absolutely no solutions to the problems they have created. They just keep digging deeper and deeper. Never seen anything like it. Its 100% intentional, they are that incompetent or their ideology is so jacked up there is no hope they will ever see the light except if they get creamed in the midterms. I even have doubts that happens given the new Democrat party will do ANYTHING to win elections now.

Every single dim bill is like a piece of cake with a razor blade inside. If they ever, and I mean ever, submitted a bill that didn't have some kind of BS rider attached to it then maybe they could get something passed.

Also four dims voted against that gas pricing bill. They can't even get unanimous voting for their own initiative.

Agree. The price of raw goods skyrocketed because the currency devaluation thanks to massive spending.

The Dems will pull a grandstanding stunt like this for the sole purpose of trying to fool the uninformed Then claim their voters are more intelligent

Probably iron clad NDAs. The sale will fail when material issues are uncovered in the diligence process. Ultimately we won’t know what those issues are unless it winds up in derivative litigation. SEC certainly isn’t going to do shit about the fraudulent filings.

Edit: and Twitter won’t sure to enforce the purchase so issues won’t come to light in that circumstance.

The price of oil is $112 a barrel, the reason gas is expensive isn’t due to price gouging. There is already laws on price gouging, that was a show vote.

It’s due to Biden’s effed up policies and view on oil. Psaki herself stated they didn’t see high gas prices as a problem as it would push people to electric, which is the next price increase we’re about to see.
People claiming price gouging are just parroting the lies their politicians are claiming in an attempt to help Biden’s image.

He tried to insult you in one of them screw...you just weren't top of his hate list. Didn't you see it?

I think he kind of complimented trueblu, called him sane or something...that should really make trueblu question everything about himself.
Well damn I didnt see it

Oil has dropped 30% the last week, under $100 now. Gas hasn't moved down at all. Once again proving that the energy market is completely detached from all economic rules. The companies just do whatever the **** they want to gouge consumers because the legislatures are bought and paid for. Oil futures move up a bit and gas prices skyrocket instantly. futures fall back down and gas prices still go up, maybe go down a month later.

I have mentioned before that I have a lot of Democrats in my family...I almost never talk politics with family because of that. I was shocked a couple hours ago when a relative of mine in his late 70s said casually, 'I think I'm going to change my political registration.'

I laughed it off 'ok, I bet' and he said he was serious. This guy is a lifelong Democrat, I think he emerged from the womb Democrat. I didn't really say anything about it, probably due to the shock. The man spent a lifetime loathing Republicans so I doubt he would register as a Republican...probably change it to independent...when he told me my first thought was my gawd if they have lost him...then the f-cking Dems are about to get murdered in the next couple election cycles.

It's almost out of runoff territory. The Dems got their 6 candidates to all endorse Warnock and not canablalize each other. Warnock is sitting around 45+%. If turnout is the same or higher as 2018 he should get the win. The gop couldn't get it done so. Loeffler only at 25%. If Warnock can avoid the runoff it will be a huge steal. Perdue made a complete fool of himself this week and just killing his campaign. All recent polling has it tied or Osoff up a point or 2.
